The wonderful capability of spreading our good energy to nurture the self, disseminating happiness, and great joy to someone else, is one key motivation that makes us alive. We get conscious about what we have contact with. We observe, analyse, practise, and understand the positive and negative sides of a situation we are experiencing. We then decide to evolve our abilities to support walking the path towards a meaningful life, which is required for enhancing the power we have inside; ending up slavery at any level, including the slavery of the mind; promoting freedom of thoughts, feelings, actions, or anything that is part of the unique characteristics of the self; and understanding we have to keep sharing kindness and compassion, mainly in environments where freedom is something an individual still need to defend the self to exercise his/her fundamental rights.
We need more than ever to enhance the self, boosting our love nature to prevent the use of advanced technology to dictatorial actions such as the interested to know and control the thoughts of another person, walking back to the old times of tyranny, where anyone speaking differently from who has the power and influence under society gets persecuted, imprisoned, or even executed.
Preventing society to get back to old times of atrocities, stavery, or the segregation of human beings in non-intersectional groups, is nurturing the self with love, good energy, positive attitudes, and the achievement of peace of mind. By exercising our love nature to prevent discrimination to become, again, a common practise like the old times of slavery, we could ask the self the following questions: Would I like to have my thoughts, my actions, and my own privacy monitored and controlled by someone else? Would I like to have to obey the desire of someone else like a slave whose opinion has little or no value? Would I like to be part of experiences without my own clear consent?
The usual answer for all the aforementioned questions is no, as it is in our private life that we perform the observation, the reasoning, and the understanding about everything we do, including our mind training. If we have no intention, and if we are not comfortable to have our own private life controlled and violated, why is it ok to do it to another sentient being? Why is it ok to treat another person like an object? Why is it ok to perform experiences with animals in a laboratory? Why is it ok to do anything if the subject is another sentient being? We have to think carefully about those questions, in order to establish our own personal understanding about the matter.
The moment we realise suffering is always deeply impacting the self, no matter whether we are experiencing directly the outcome, it is the moment we understand while in suffering we are fighting against our own nature.
