The key to our home is only on the table if we have decided we would let it that way. There is no other option available out of violation, breaking into our personal space. The moment we identify such a violation the only option we have at hand is defending the self against anything posing a threat to our well-being. That is the law of the universe, where adaptation is performed as a required step towards evolution. The more we realise that, the more we understand no one can do anything to the self out of our own permission. One fundamental teaching Buddha, the enlightened one, has left us is the awareness about our personal sphere of control. Such a sphere is restricted to the self, represented by our mind and body, where our consciousness is considered the ruler in exercise at the present moment. When we step into a period of suffering, we distance the self from the ruler's position, letting the unconscious mind assume the ruler's role, and implying taking risks of experien...

There is life everywhere, and we just need to learn how to cultivate and nurture it according to the environmental conditions we are facing in the present moment. It does not mean we need to embrace suffering, and all negativity associated with it. It means we have to adapt the self to such environmental conditions, in order to generate positive energy, even if the outside is not able to give us the same in the majority of the time. The moment we realise how powerful is generating positive energy from the inside out, it is the moment we understand suffering has the opposite goal. The idea of generating positive energy deep within the self is an ancient knowledge imprinted into our DNA. However, when we are not conscious about the illusion promoted by the negative conditioning we may be following, we incorporate the negative energy received from the environment, which is not good for our health at all. We observe behaviours apart from our love nature. We start questioning the self...

There is strength anywhere we go, no matter how harsh the environment seems to be. It is because strength does not come from the outside but is built within, manifesting itself from the inside out. Our intrinsic love nature, which is able to care about life as the ultimate goal, is strength. Our capability of observing, analysing, and understanding through consciousness the scene we are experiencing is strength. Our capability to walk away from a conflict, because we see through our third eye it does not make sense, is strength. And the ability to defend the self and others when the outside seems to experience a period of suffering, having little or no consciousness that harming another has no use for anyone, is also strength. Every example we can find about strength is generated from within, and that is why peace of mind represents the ultimate strength we possess to face anything, anywhere, any time, and at any circumstances. Attacking another is never a good strategy to provid...

It is our duty to nurture the life within, protecting the precious gift we have received from the universe no matter the circumstances. The foundation of such protection is rested on top of knowledge, which can be acquired either by theoretical teachings or practical experiences. Sometimes we get in a situation where we are left alone, with no possibility of receiving help from anywhere, or anyone. In those moments, we need our consciousness the most, preventing the self from stepping into a period of suffering, continuing facing the presented challenges, and being awakened to the fact that we need generating positive energy from the inside out. The more positive energy we are able to generate, the more peace of mind we are able to cultivate, implying the stronger we become to walk our path towards a meaningful life. We have to understand the unlimited power we have inside, which is manifest through the use of our consciousness while achieving higher levels of peace of mind. By a...

The moment we see a war with no way of setting terms through reasoning and understanding, it is the moment we realise the huge fog of negative conditioning covering the world we live in, clouding the understanding about what a life is, and why we have to care about it as the ultimate goal. We practise our body and mind training to enable the self being conscious about what happens within, and in the surroundings. The limitation of our own influence is what makes the self responsible for dealing with any period of suffering associated with it. The more we realise the size, and the length, of what we are facing, the more we understand that the true learning path is established within. What could we learn from a situation we observe on the outside? Little or nothing, as we have no access to the details of what really happens in the perspective and relativity of who is participating. However, the observation of the outside can be an important asset on the observation and understandin...

What matters is not an opinion from the outside but the feeling within, the consciousness about what happens in the present moment. The silence has expectations of agitation, derived from a given behaviour. If we know that, we know what to expect from every single situation. It is like fishing: we throw the line waiting for something to take the bait. The moment we are certain the bait is noticed, we have the power at hand to decide what to do. We may continue holding on to the stick, letting go of the line, or even learn about the flow of the water, which indicates the convergence of things in the vicinity. The more we practise such a guided observation, which may configure putting the self into what may seem from the outside as a period of suffering, the more we understand why Buddha, the enlightened one, has left the palace to understand his own suffering. It is not the first time I emphasise what the biggest challenge of living a meaningful life is. And it has nothing to do with th...

When we see injustice in the world we have two choices: following negative conditioning or using our consciousness. When we follow negative conditioning we may end up in a conflict, configuring a bubble of suffering with the illusion we have made peace. What has been established is no peace at all. Even if we have been deceived all life, instead of doing the same someone has done to us, embracing darkness is never a good option. Instead, we can use our consciousness to tap into both the laws of society and the universe itself to embrace the light within. Following negative conditioning is never the way of facing anything we have contact with in the present moment. There is little or no consciousness involved, and the result is a reactive movement derived from negative stimuli received from the outside. The self does not make a decision, it just follows one that has been already conditioned. Therefore, we enter a period of suffering that sometimes we call being "out of mind"...

No matter how agitated or peaceful the environment we are inserted into is, we have the power to understand how it works, and how we can walk safely throughout it, keeping our love nature as it is. It is time to realise the agitation, or the peaceful moments we face from the outside become part of a negative conditioning process, where the unconscious mind may start to follow, copying the state of what has been observed with no discernment about what is happening. The negative stimuli starts. The negative outcome is what the expectation holds. However, our consciousness is powerful enough to recognise a mind trap the moment it is aware of its existence. The idea of being conscious requires the use of our mind to recognise the negative stimuli we are subjected from the environment we are inserted into. Recognising such negative stimuli is fundamental to understand how we could step into a period of suffering, the moment our unconscious mind gets on the driver's seat. We may let th...

The path we choose to walk is not a conditioned journey looking almost the same as any other journey we may have heard something about. It is unique, challenging, mysterious, and precious to who matters most: the self. It is not possible to put on the hands of another the duty of walking the path on our behalf. It does not even make sense. We may use some help to enable the self to regain consciousness about what happens within, and in the surroundings. However, we are the only one capable of cultivating and nurturing life, while walking our path towards a meaningful life. We may feel that our path is more difficult than others…and our feelings may be right in some sense. We may have to face challenging situations, harsh conditions, scarce resources, or even isolation as the result of any kind of mind training. The recognition of any characteristic present in our own path is wonderful in the perspective of having consciousness at hand, but it is, at the same time, challenging to ...

No matter how hard the walk through our own path is, there is always a moment when we have to make a pause, hydrating the self with a source of good energy we have found on the journey. We refresh our motivation, strengthen our intention, reinvigorate our physical, and clear our mind, preparing the self to step into a peaceful moment. Suffering is something with no business in such a restful state, enabling the self to be focused on what really matters: cultivating and nurturing life. The more we take advantage of such wonderful moments of peace, the more we understand why the impermanence of the universe is essential for our own evolution. Evolution is a transformation of the self in something considered better than who we were in the previous moment. As human beings capable of extraordinary things, we have the ability to enter into states of constant evolution, where we achieve better versions of the self, one after another. Such constant evolution affects the body and mind, wh...

We may think about achieving inner peace as a journey where the result is reached at the end, feeding the illusion of acquiring a permanent characteristic of the self. Inner peace is not permanent but part of the adapting process to establish balance between what we have within, and what we receive from the outside. If we receive little or no negativity from the outside, the task of finding balance within becomes easier but still challenging. On the other hand, if we are charged with huge amounts of negative energy, such a task of finding balance requires generating enough positive energy to bring balance to the table. In both situations, what we have is the impermanent exchange of energy with the goal of being light in the present moment. Becoming light is what we seek but dealing with darkness is what we need to do in the present moment. How could we deal with darkness and become light at the same time? That is a tough question I have no way to provide a general answer to. Howe...

No matter how dark is the environment we are inserted into, we have the power to generate light from the inside out, illuminating the path we choose to walk, putting the care about life as the ultimate goal, and nurturing the love nature we have imprinted in our DNA. There are times to observe, and moments to understand. From the experience of observation we get all we need to start reasoning, which culminates in establishing understanding about a given subject, eventually. The more we realise what we are facing in the present moment, the more we understand peace of mind is what we need to stand strong against any type of negative energy we have contact with. It is almost time for us to realise that we need to continue practising our body and mind training in order to face anything in life. A healthy body, and a sharp mind, are the requirements to stand strong against darkness, and its associated negativity we may have contact with. We do not stand a chance to deal with negativit...

There is always a way to nurture life, even in an environment where conditions are harsh. It is a matter of keeping the strong roots, the foundation on top of our love nature, cultivating positive energy within, and letting, step by step, it spread from the inside out. Learning by experience is combined with the acquisition of ancient knowledge, cross-relating what we observe in the present moment with teachings disseminated in the past. The more we realise that sometimes there is no example to follow in a given scenario, the more we get aware that understanding is a key factor of any scene we experience. We should not be afraid if we get in a position where we have no idea about what to do next, as it is by observing the impermanence of the universe that we can learn, and understand, the patterns in the surroundings, and the strategy we may apply to identify and deal with them. By taking advantage of the uncertainty that is part of the intrinsic movement of the universe, we get ...

Continue your daily path. If you have difficulties with your work, family, or even in a relationship, do not be afraid. Analyse each situation as impartial as you can. Breathe. Think. Decide. Do what you think is right. Remember just one important thing: do not cause harm to either yourself or someone else. At the end, you realise the control of your life is yours, entirely. The control is always ours but we may still be into the illusion we have been controlled by the environment we are inserted into. Embracing such an illusion is an easy-catch, considering the co-dependency between the individual and society. We may get the wrong idea that the laws imposed to live in society are restrictions established to perform negative conditioning of individuals. In some sort such laws may do that, eventually. However, most of the laws describe situations aside from our love nature, situations where more and more individuals have started to embrace, stepping into periods of suffering causi...

No matter how dense the environment we are walking by is, there is always a path that makes the walk aligned with our love nature. Such a path may not be a straight line but it represents we are conscious of every step we make, observing the self and the surroundings with a non-judgemental attitude. The impermanence of the universe may present to us, from time to time, challenges we have to face that are coming out of the sudden. Whether we are prepared to face them, with consciousness at hand we are able to stand up strong, adapt to the situation, and learn how to be resilient to any negativity we may have contact with during the process of dealing and understanding our own suffering. It is fundamental that we get prepared to face challenges we have no idea how to deal with properly. From time to time we are subjected to things we could not understand at the beginning, and such lack of understanding may imply a higher probability of stepping into a period of suffering. We may ge...

The example is what we see through our naked eyes? Or is it what we can understand about? Are we capable of knowing the truth behind the scenes? What we see through our naked eyes is what we can describe from our perspective, which may be clouded by negativity implanted within. While in the path of understanding suffering, which is a task for a lifetime, the important thing is not unconsciously following what we see, but understanding through our third eye what happens behind the scene, as much as we can. In that sense, we are able to realise what we could get if we follow what we see, doing the same thing we are just observing. Right or wrong becomes reasonable, and anything we may have implanted within, mainly negative conditioning, gets its power and side-effects diminished. The illusion we may have in our mind when we work on settling an example is forgetting that such an example is not to be unconsciously followed but understood. When we use our consciousness we are not cond...

As we can see in the news [1], what is called Neo-Nazi is growing in Brazil, restauring and promoting the values disseminated by the Nazi party, mainly during the World War II [2]. It is clear as crystal that values of Nazi party related to the promotion of a “pure race”, which sometimes is recognised by a common behaviour, is active in Brazil. I, as a mixed-race person, am feeling it on my skin and bones, not coping with the illusion observed. The most difficult challenge we have to face is recognising that our love nature, and the values we cultivate within, are not part of the scene, or the environment we are inserted into. We may step into a period of suffering urging for change, while change occurs just inside. Talking about Nazi party should be a topic about history we have to remember but never forget. Unfortunately, it is not the case when we talk about current discrimination experienced in Brazil, which is a pressing matter regarding the growing of groups defending ideas...

When time is something we have concern about, time becomes something we have to make the most of. By paying attention to time we may realise that, no matter how fast or slow we do something, the passage of time would feel almost the same for a conscious mind. The illusion of being faster or slower is a trap of the mind, which may cause pleasure or frustration associated with the task we have at hand. Therefore, dealing with the expectations is dealing with what the self is able to learn from the experience we have in the present moment. Time may dictate a way to account for a moment, but a conscious moment is what makes the passage of time the most of it. Consciousness is the tool we have at hand to make the most of the time available to perform a given task we need to. It is by using our consciousness that we become aware of the difficulties and challenges we need to face, which may try to disturb what we are doing in the present moment. The disturbance is what we may observe in...

How lucky is a zebra to get alone in the wild without being hunted by a lion, or another wild cat animal? A lot. However, it could not be luck but a strategy of being a fast jumper in the forest, and for that reason we have a lot to learn from an animal, which is, most of the time, hunted by others. When we have less resources at hand, implying we have less capability to perform anything we would like to, we need consciousness more than ever to know exactly what we are doing, instead of running unconsciously just to escape something we are facing in the present moment. The more we start to use our consciousness in the task of walking our own path, the more we understand that living in society is being in a forest with a lot of hunters in suffering: we just need to practise our mind and body training to walk our own path, hoping we have no need to face such hunters, even if we get prepared to do so. The importance of keeping the practise of our body and mind training is clear as c...

We have to keep training our body and mind in a self-paced journey, where the goal is transforming anything we are facing into a source of good energy, with little or no disturbance, like peanuts. Everytime we have an issue, a challenge, a problem to solve, and we are not able to find a suitable solution for the moment, we have to be conscious such a problem would stick with the self for a while. Therefore, the only option we have at hand, besides embracing suffering and the negative conditioning associated, is getting used to any outcome resulting from what we are facing. Why? Because we can take advantage of the situation for our own evolution. Sometimes we have no idea about what the solution is. In other moments, we have a hint about the direction we could walk towards. There are stages where we know exactly what we have to do, but there are no resources at hand to perform the intended plan. Dealing with such impermanence is learning, day by day, how to recognise and understa...

We can do a lot to help another but there is nothing we can do to actually perform the change. Changing, which can be represented by stepping into an evolutionary path, is a personal duty, and a self-motivated intention to do so. We can observe, analyse, and understand what happens within and in the surroundings. We can recognise our strengths and weaknesses, and the strengths and weaknesses of another. However, the way of our love nature is not exploring what we know but developing what we could know. The more we observe the world through our third eye, the more we understand we can only enhance the self, hoping another would get conscious to step into self-evolution, eventually. Evolution is a self-paced journey, which can be triggered by a bunch of events observed on the outside, making our conscious mind to realise something the unconscious counterpart was putting aside. It is the awakening of an energy of love deep within, which we have had no idea it would exist, until the ...

It is through education we face any challenge present to us, establishing a personal shield against any belief that is not built on top of a scientific ground, or in the inability of getting scientific proof, personal experiences performed within our own perspective and relativity. Our personal shield gets on through education but we have to be prepared for the manade effect, the following of a belief out of understanding. Social isolation may be the result of not following the negative conditioning imposed in the environment we live in, as consciousness is able to recognise, as clear as crystal, its presence. The more we put our trust on our consciousness, and the capability to step out of a period of suffering derived from negative conditioning, the more we are able to understand the manade effect is a trace of discrimination. Discrimination is the use of differences as a clear or hidden justifications to not get along with someone else, no matter the circumstances. Sometimes w...

We have to keep our motivation strong, supported by our body and mind training in order to face anything experienced in the environment we are inserted into. Sometimes, the difficulties may appear to be very challenging, and in that time we have to remember the history of World War II, where Jews were facing from violent to non-violent measures promoted by the intelligence division of the Nazi party called Gestapo. The satisfaction of treating a human being with no dignity is stated in the following passage [1]:  "A Gestapo report of September 1935, while noting with satisfaction that "Jews are being forced socially and economically into isolation,” cautioned that public acts of violence, such as breaking windows and drawing graffiti on house fronts, should be avoided. Indeed, the Gestapo demanded that the Kreisleiter (district leaders) stop individual attacks against Jews and discouraged any posters and signs directed against the Jews. 1 Economic boycotts were encouraged,...
