Sometimes persons who want to see you fall down will make jokes about you; they will criticise every action you have made; they will even spread fake news about you, with the purpose to force you to be seen as someone you are not. In summary, you will suffer a hidden psychological torture. Keep your head up. Be compassionate. Sometimes the pressure is so high you will get a little bit down, and you will not be able to be a full compassionate person. However, if you want to do good towards others, you will be able to overcome anything by training the mind and learning from everyone's mistakes, including yours.
It is easy to see clearly an obnoxious situation when we get consciousness at hand. We realise and understand what happens in the present moment, and what we have to do while facing such a kind of situation. Sometimes we can just remain in silence, walking the self out of trouble, peacefully and smoothly. Sometimes we could not leave the place, which requires facing whatever we are experiencing in the moment. In those moments we could not get ourselves out, we can use it as an opportunity to practise our mind training. The most important thing in such a practise is keeping consciousness at hand, recognising moments we may step into a period of suffering, in order to diminish the manifestation of negative emotions derived from such a period.
We have to recognise we could not control the behaviour of another but we can control ours. Such a recognition comes with practise, experience, observation, and understanding about the beauty and power of our own mind. Stepping into the illusion there is something wrong to the self is the biggest mistake we could ever commit. The moment we commit such a mistake, our mind embraces the loop of suffering by correlating every problem to the self. To break such a loop, and step out of it, we have to be conscious about the impermanence of the universe, and how we could use knowledge from the past to adapt better to what we are facing in the present moment. The more we adapt consciously, the less we get conditioned by the negativity we are experiencing, which enables us to tap into our true love nature.
The moment we realise a period of suffering is nothing more than a negative conditioning, it is the moment we understand falling in that mind trap could only be prevented with consciousness at hand.
