At the present moment we count on our genuine smile, the power capable of changing everything in a snap of a finger. We perform our mind training to get conscious about our nature, incorporating the care for others, the innocence of a child, the elimination of barriers and discrimination between persons, as we are all members of the same species. The principle of a meaningful life, which cares about the self, is what makes us conscious about our capability to overcome our own limits. We have to find our way to overcome our own limits, tapping into our love nature. Each one of us has unique characteristics, which represent our individuality, the sense of a singular perspective and relativity in the observation of the universal impermanence. We may have different skin colour, cultural heritage, religion, nationality, gender, and education level. However, we are all humans, members of the same species, capable of incredible achievements through the use of our own consciousness. How ...

We should workout our body to keep up our good health while practising our mind training. The body is the vessel controlled by our own mind. Keeping the body in good health conditions is keeping the maintenance of the vessel, which is much more easy to control than one with health problems. It does not mean we cannot control our body and mind while facing physical impairments but the stronger the connection between body and mind, the easier it is to face darkness in our daily life. Being conscious is indeed feeling the strong pumping sensation of the heart inside. Working out our body is what complements, strengths, and supports our mind training, enabling us to endure the full spectrum of situations we have to face in our daily life. The moment we start to workout evolved by the practise of Yoga, it is the moment we realise how wonderful and beneficial Yoga is to our body, reflecting and influencing our mind training as well. We should experience the practise of Yoga by ourselve...

Being kind and soft at the present moment is nurturing the appreciation of the self, the positive feelings we feel about being alive, walking our path and living a meaningful life. It is facing discrimination with a clear perspective, indifference with an open heart, and injustice with a kind, compassionate, and fearless attitude. It is facing judgements, gossip, and negativity with clarity of mind. It is enjoying life no matter how unfair, inmoral, and obnoxious an environment is. It is like being in the jungle, facing a deadly threat with a genuine and sincere smile, a lovely figure with a heart of a lion and the strength of a dragon, capable of self-defence if required but hoping such a threat to either get out of suffering or realising a strong mind is capable of the impossible not by force but by will. How could I face something I have negative feelings about? One may ask. With no consciousness we could observe the use of an approach denoted and represented well in a tv seri...

Let us think about the lessons written in the past years we are aware of, the words carved in the scenes we have participated, the mind traps we have fallen into, the situations we have been the leading actor and the ones we have been just participants. Let us forgive ourselves by the moments of suffering required to obtain the consciousness to never forget who we are and who is whether at our surroundings, to never forget suffering is a trickster, which is happy to embrace negativity from the scenes. The words are in the dictionary, the meanings are written down and shared, the knowledge is available to be accessed, and the access is only suitable to a conscious mind grounded at the present moment, a mind whom knows the impermanence of the universe and the difference between past, present, and future. What a wonderful day we have at our hands in the present moment, no matter where we are and what we are doing, being alive is feeling a wonderful joy, an opportunity to personal gr...

The present is a perspective and relativity of our own observation. We navigate alone in the ocean of life, walking in the path of our singular and unique journey towards all the knowledge we require to live a meaningful life. We face difficulties, threats, unpleasant situations, things we can use to enhance our inner strength or embrace a deep unconscious sleep of suffering. The choice is always ours, no matter the circumstances. The hardest part is to realise the size of the challenges we face are proportional to our capacity to overcome them. The moment we realise that, it is the moment we stop complaining and start understanding. At the present moment nothing is at the right place, what could I do? One may ask. The first thing is to realise what the meaning of the right place we talk about. Is it having money to spend on luxury? Is it having a successful career, recognition, and respect? Is it having a place to live and food to eat? Is it having the rights to access knowledge...

The moment we think about the present we know in the present we are no more. The present is what we live. We are able to observe, experience, do, realise. What a wonderful moment I have lived. One may say. What an amazing opportunity I have had to practise my mind training. One may comment. Have you seen that? One may ask. All happening in the present, observed in the presented, experienced in the present, done in the present. The moment we realise what present is, it is the moment we seek no present anymore, as in the present we are. Let us think about what we have lived until the present moment. Let us identify the difficulties we have experienced, the joyful moments we have participated, the wonderful achievements we have performed, the small things we have noticed. Everything we have done has contributed to put us right here, and right now, in that marvelous moment of the space and time fabric we have dubbed as present. We learn from things happening in the present moment. We...

The moment we start to embrace the balance between light and darkness, it is the moment we start to get more and more relaxed facing unpleasant situations, no matter whether we receive stimuli originated from the environment, the obnoxious attitude required to practise our mind training in the face of darkness. It is like getting our bedroom totally prepared to lay down in a comfortable and nice rest. The more we respond to a negative attitude with a kind gesture, the less we let that negative energy contaminate the self, enhancing our inner peace towards a higher level, one step after the other. How could a person identify an obnoxious situation? One may ask. It is not always easy to identify an obnoxious situation, which if viewed from a positive perspective, can be an awesome opportunity to practise our mind training. We have to tap into our instincts to see the person separated from an observed state of suffering. We should ask ourselves: Is an observed act of anger motivated...

The moment we get conscious about the environment we are inserted into, it is the moment we start observing the details, paying attention to things we would not notice unconsciously. It is in the metadata of our journey towards this beautiful world. The opening comes from the inside, it is a direct and legitimate communication channel between the inner and the outer. The inner tries to keep on balance in the presence of atrocities observed in the outer, which promotes negative feelings to overcome our nature of love. The dog does not know why carrying the flower in the first place, being static, with no action but waiting for command. The dog has no idea it can be the result of an autonomous and conditioned action, which just with consciousness we are able to identify, be aware of, accept or reject it by our own will. The beauty of a flower is indeed appreciated. It is a vivid and natural colour accompanied by a contagious smell of purity. How wonderful receiving flowers is. How ...

Nothing is too big to deal with, and nothing is too small to be mistaken as something with no value. It is always a matter of perspective. It is always a matter of genuine motivation. It is always a matter of surpassing our own limits. It is always a matter of understanding not faith. Many could try and fall but what is suffering for a conscious mind? We would never know if we do not try. What is understanding? One may ask. It is a wonderful question, indeed. To realise what understanding is, let us think what faith is. Think about two related words: believe and trust. Do we believe in what we trust? Or do we trust in what we believe? The answers of those questions require something we are interested to know the meaning of. Do we trust in what we understand? Or do we understand everything we trust? What a huge bag of questions to make a reason for. Let us reflect a little bit more: Do we understand what we have faith for? Or do we have faith in everything we understand? It is ind...

A singular and focused manifestation of energy can be released from the inside. A marvelous, joyful, and beautiful resonance represented by physical movements dubbed kind gestures. That energy is also disseminated by a wonderful and warm attitude dubbed compassion. It is an energy a blind can see, a deaf can hear, and a mute can speak freely, out and loud. What kind of energy is that? One may ask. We know the energy we are talking about in the moment we tap into our nature. Would we like to hate? Would we have pleasure in humiliation? Would we have joyful moments in discriminative acts? Would we enjoy seeing another experiencing difficulties? The moment we figure out the answer for those questions, it is the moment we know for sure what suffering is, what it represents, and how it opposes the constitution of our true nature. Deception is a characteristic of darkness, an attempt to take advantage of a person and its good intentions. What would we have to do if we notice a deceptiv...

The most prominent secret of every martial art is self-defence. Defence against an obnoxious, unfair, and in suffering mind of another. Defence against darkness and the atrocities it is capable of executing. In a similar way, the most prominent secret of any kind of mind training is self-knowledge. Knowledge about our own weaknesses and strengths. Knowledge about our mind and body, their relation, and the use of physical and mind power for cultivating kindness and compassion, propagating love and diminishing hatred. The moment we realise those secrets, it is the moment we know the roots required to our self-improvement, which is also a strong foundation to learn from the discoveries and creations of another, incorporating the ancient knowledge at the deepest level of our own heart. What is the secret of life? One may ask. The answer is not a direct one but something we need to think about, realising it by ourselves. There is a word that helps to clarify the terms: consciousness. ...

What is the strongest force we could see in the presented scene? Is the merciless weight of the hammer, with a passed judgement to break the egg? Is life itself, kind, compassionate, and powered by love? Is it something else? If we choose the hammer we may be right, as it may have the power to break the egg. The life inside the egg also has the power to stop the hammer to break everything around, life itself included. The moment we figure out the answer, it is the moment we see the precious value of life. What if am I being forced to do what I have no intentions to perform? One may ask. A forced situation is always part of a state of suffering. The moment we are forced to do something, it is the moment we can see suffering clearly in front of our third eye. The one who is trying to force has thoughts of superiority, a “born right” to make all desires come true no matter the means necessary. It is our duty to see clearly we are not obliged to do anything outside a conscious agreem...

Let us close our eyes and think about a beautiful place, full of love and affection. It is very difficult to think about a place like that. One may say. The difficulty is not in having thoughts but in the source of them. Darkness we seek, darkness we see, darkness we think, and darkness we become. The opposite is also true: Light we seek, light we see, light we think, and light we become. How to see the light in a place full of darkness? One may ask. We are able to see the light the moment we do not turn our back on it. The more we get conscious, the easier we know when and where we have to put our eyes upon. Think, that is still free of charge. We have the power of love at our disposal and it is within our own mind. We think all the time and everytime is a good opportunity to think about love. We could have a negative thought about how stressful a noise is around us, or we could see how easily we could identify the origin and the source of the noise with focus and attention. We ...

We let go of different types of leaves during our life journey. Each one is unique, carrying charges of the present moment they have got separated from ourselves. From suffering we leave behind the correspondent leaf charged with the negative energy we have no more intention to cultivate within. From love we leave behind a correspondent leaf charged with positive energy, good intentions, joyful vibrations, a kind of feeling that is always present, renewed at each new moment of affection. The purpose of an impermanent universe can be seen with our third eye, we just need to try by ourselves with consciousness. The cultivation of love is something so beautiful that we are capable of forgetting the existence of negativity we experience all around. It is a powerful energy, filling our entire body with good and relaxing sensations, a kind of feeling required to master the balance of darkness and light from the inside to the outside. We cultivate, we share, and we let go to obse...

How could I help others? One may ask. We all have the energy of love inside ourselves, and by cultivating that energy we are already helping others. The energy of love is the fuel for a kind and compassionate attitude, a good intention, a soft gesture, a genuine smile. The energy of love is pure, it is a genuine intention to care not to use. We have the answer inside ourselves but sometimes we are too unconscious to see it clearly, and to share it freely. We have the power of being as soft as a wonderful share of energy from a good hand massage. Is concentrating the efforts in the self a selfish act? One may ask. The answer depends on what kind of energy we use in the cultivation of the self. The moment we concentrate our efforts in the self, being careless about what happens to others in our watch, in our sphere of influence and responsibility, it is the moment we cultivate negative feelings, dark energy, states of suffering instead of light, love, kindness, compassion, good vib...

We have a lot to learn from Buddha’s teachings and a lot to discover on our own behind those teachings. We know we have no scientific proof for most of his teachings, which depends on variables we cannot reproduce such as our mind. Mind training is the base of Buddha’s wisdom. Do I have to become a Buddha to walk in this world with clarity of mind and higher consciousness? One may ask. In the search for the answer we could ask ourselves: Do I have to become a Computer Scientist to be able to build a software? Do I have to become a Civil Engineer to be able to build a house? Do I have to become a Professional Football Player to be able to play football? Or do I need consciousness to get the required knowledge to do such things? The moment we get conscious about the answer, it is the moment we get clarity of mind. According to the book “The Art of Living: Part I and II”, written by the Venerable Master Chin Kung, there are ten sentences capable of summarising Buddha’s teachings: “T...

There is always something to notice in the shadows. First, it does not represent what we really are. Second, it is a raw, limited, distorted version of ourselves, which can be fabricated by external sources, using the ignorance, the lack of knowledge, the careless posture of a state of suffering. Understanding the suffering of the self is understanding the suffering of others, who may be the ones posing difficulties with obnoxious posture towards ourselves. What could we do with such persons? One may ask. Well, if they are violating some laws, one day all of them have to face a fair trial against the crimes they are commiting, supported by solid proof of such violation. No matter whether the violation has been committed, we hope they get conscious to realise harming others is never a choice to make. Relaxing is an option we have to take while observing the darkness of the self. Are you saying we all have a dark side? One may ask. Yes, we have, and it is part of our existence, the...

In a clouded environment, where we cannot clearly see the path we have to follow, it is time to concentrate on the self. However, how could I concentrate on the self, if the things I use from the environment are breaking down? Do I need a lot of money to follow the path of light, supporting all difficulties imposed by the environment itself? One may ask. The answer is not an answer but a reflection: if someone takes away our food, would we search for more food? Or would we start suffering and starving until death knocks our door? The time we realise the answer, it is the time we understand the origin of suffering. It does not mean it would be easy to follow the path of the light. It can be the hardest journey we ever have. However, a meaningful life is always a happy one. Do not be afraid, it is time to realise we are human beings, and we have our mind power to overcome any challenge presented to us. We can be tortured, being treated in an unfair way, deceived, humiliated,...

We perform our mind training to achieve inner peace, the inner balance required to deal with any situation present to us, in the environment we live in. The moment we test our mind training, it is the moment we can recognise which are the strengths we have to enforce, and the weaknesses we have to diminish. We need mind training to remove the negative conditioning of darkness imprisoned in the path of suffering. The more we get close to our inner balance, the more we bound our connection between mind and body, the superhero strength carved like grounded stones at a waterfall. What is your secret? One may ask. The answer is quite obvious, you can look in the environment, everything is available to us. We have all the elements: earth, fire, air, water, and our beautiful heart at our disposal. How beautiful is the impermanence of the universe, the combination of those elements in the cultivation of love, the nurturing of life itself. Life is precious, love is wonderful, and balance ...

One may ask: what is the energy of love? How could I feel it? The answers for those questions start all from within. We see hatred, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see anger, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see sorrow, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see negativity all around, we transform it in understanding, and we get conscious. Where is the energy of love? One may ask. It is just here and we could feel it the moment we get conscious about its existence. It is time to see the world with our third eye of consciousness. It is time to see the environment we live in may be a huge source of negativity, with incredible atrocities one cannot see with naked eyes or have proof but sense. The darkness, the negativity, all manifested through feelings of anger, hate, sorrow, frustration, and so on. It is the ancient dance of dragons, the protectors of the fire, the energetic element, source of both life and death. It is on the foundation of negativity we experience suffering, and...

Is there a miracle way to get in shape, naturally, without doing any body training? Is there a miracle way to get physical strength, naturally, with no negative side effects to our health, without doing any body training? I do not know you guys but I have never heard a kind of miracle way to answer those questions. When it comes to mind training, to the enhancement of the self, the improvement of our inner peace, we can use the same rational thinking. There is no miracle way to get our mind at balance, naturally, with no negative side effects to our health, without mind training. A miracle way like that would be considered what we may call “the happiness pill”, which does not exist. Well, do you remember that unpleasant environment you have to face? Congratulations, by facing that kind of environment we have a wonderful opportunity to test and improve our mind training, transforming ourselves from a frog to the prince or princess of our reign :-D. Consciousness; awareness; concen...

Sometimes we may ask ourselves: Why do I need consciousness? Could I just believe in things I hear? Consciousness is what makes us capable of reasoning, observing the environment we are inserted into, analysing the variables within, and understanding their relation to the observed outcome. Consciousness makes us aware of the conditioning involved, the attempt to drive the unconscious mind to do things we get no awareness about, in the moment of their occurrence. Consciousness is what makes us understand we have to observe the environment, to know the conditioning imposed requires adaptation. If we are not capable of adapting ourselves, we have no other option than improving our mind training and moving on. Darkness enforces its way, and we respond with light, kindness, compassion, love. The moment darkness attempts to control us, it is the moment we have to be conscious and not afraid to face it, to move on when we want to, instead of embracing suffering at the imposed sca...

I could ask you what is your top secret? What is the classified information you would never release to the public? Is it in your mind? Is it written in your booklog? Is it hidden within your house? Do you have no top secret information? You could refuse to answer me those questions, it is your right to do so. When we look to mind training we realise the difference between public and private, unclassified and classified, privacy and violation. We perform training sessions to our private mind to be able to deal with the events happening in the environment we live in, both in public and private places. Consciousness is what bound us all. The moment we get conscious about what is in the surroundings, it is the moment we know we can live without privacy but it is with understanding of our own private mind, we are able to help ourselves and others to pursue a meaningful life free of suffering. Do you have blind faith in me or someone else? Please, do not. I recommend you to try e...

There is no perfection but knowledge and wisdom. At a close range we are able to observe tiny exchanges of energy, the balance of positive and negative charges required to keep our inner peace in check. With the exchanges of energy we have changes, and observing such changes we are able to see the impermanence, its nature, and the natural law dictating the universe. The moment we get the right balance of positive and negative charges no probe is able to see anything. However, we know there is something, and that something is at balance. We have an incredible ability of self-control, using the power of the mind to achieve the impossible. Self-control comes with practise, the outcome of the mind training adapted to our perspective and relativity. The results we seek do not come free of charge. As his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, is used to saying: our enemy is our best teacher. To be able to trust wisely we need to know what deception is. To be able to love unconditionally we nee...

When we cannot see something, we need to be an awesome listener. When we cannot hear something, we need to be an amazing observer. And when we cannot speak anything, we need to be skillful with our gestures. The moment we realise each one of us needs to develop all the capabilities mastered by those persons in the picture, it is the moment we use our intelligence not to harm others but to enhance our human capability, our nature of love and compassion. That is the true meaning of the word intelligence. To see the world by sounds is to pay attention to every detail we can hear in the surroundings. It is to boost our senses to convert sounds into meaning, images, scenes, knowledge. It is to decode the words we hear in a way they resonate wisely within ourselves, promoting and generating opportunities to acquire knowledge required by our self-evolution. To see the world by images is to pay attention to every detail passing in front of our eyes. It is to combine multiple snapshots of...

The moment we see a street with water we know we have to pay attention in each step we do, preventing us from slipping, falling down, or getting hurt. If we do not pay attention we may end up on the ground. Facing negativity is similar to walking on a street with water, we have to pay attention in every step we do, being aware about what is in the surroundings. The moment we realise the source of darkness in everything we face, it is the moment we recognise the presence of water on the street. If I ask you to get on balance on a street with water, or even on a road full of ice, it could be more difficult to do so without preparation to face the challenges imposed by the environment. The first challenge is the act of being on balance itself, as it could be the first time we are about to do so. The second challenge is the environment conditions. Water on the street, ice on the road, a “friend” pushing and polling us back and forward, rain, snow, anything that turns the act of getti...
