Today completes one year of the domain neartword.com, representing officially one year of the NeartWord project, which means one year of publishing messages every single day. It has been a tough year but a delightful journey of enhancing the self, sharing my experiences of understanding the teachings of Buddha through the writing of the aforementioned messages. Those understandings have helped me in the task of shining the inner light we have inside, and walking towards the path of a meaningful life. I, Jeferson Souza (thejefecomp), the almost 40 years old guy that has a surname spelled with a missing letter ‘f’ as his first name, which emphasises the uniqueness of the self, would like to thank all of you reading messages published by the NeartWord project. I am grateful that, in any circumstance, those messages have helped you grow as a human being, as much as I have grown in this one year period. The moment we free ourselves from our own ignorance, it is the moment we understand any time, any place, and any circumstance is an opportunity to learn something, no matter the situation or the source.


Let us take the opportunity of celebrating the one year anniversary of the NeartWord project to celebrate life itself, recognising how wonderful is the source of light we have at hand, no matter how hard it is to walk on the surface of this planet we call Earth; how challenging it is facing negativity we have contact with in our daily activities; and how inquiring it is observing the world, and the surroundings, through our own perspective and relativity. Let us remember the power of our love nature, the strength we have deep inside, and the meaningful duty of using kind and compassionate attitudes while walking the path of a meaningful life.


Let us put all the regrets we may hold within the self aside, converting the accumulated negative energy into positive attitudes, which boosts the transformation of any trace of negativity into knowledge available to our own consciousness. Let us recognise we are not creatures of perfection, and all of us are prone to step into a period of suffering from time to time. Let us not transform the experience of suffering into a lifetime burden but a wonderful source of knowledge that enables the enhancement of the self.


With the power of the strong positive energy I have inside, let all of you, people around the world,  feel that energy to recognise the awesomeness within the self, empowering the mind to face any period of suffering experienced in a conscious way. Stand up, awake, and understand that we are the same, which implies we have the power to change the world by enhancing our own self.

  When our purpose is genuine and crystal clear, there’s nothing that can stop us to attain that goal, not even a strong source of negativity surrounding us. The secret is always on our motivation to thrive, and therefore, the motivation to trespass any barrier imposed, no matter the circumstances. We can think of it as a serious game; a game of life where we’ve no additional spare lives, which implies that every move counts either towards our goal or backwards to somewhere else. The Neo-Nazi ideology is already deep in the roots of our current society, and as part of our culture and way of life, it’s dictating and conditioning what people see as normal behaviour in some social spaces. The simple act of gossiping with the goal of imposing additional difficulties in the life of another is a Neo-Nazi influence that passes almost unnoticed to our naked eyes. Stopping and diminishing those behaviours related to Neo-Nazi ideologies is the way of facing darkness and dealing with the negative conditioning we’re subjected to in a conscious and meaningful way.
