There are moments we live that we cannot go back to but we are able to register, creating a good memory that represents the link to a past we would like to build upon it. There are also moments that represent together a period of time that has passed, a time that cannot be changed, a time that must be remembered as it provides us knowledge. Knowledge that may involve suffering itself, derived from the fact we could not realise our inability to understand the violation of humanity, and the needs to stand up strong and tall in the face of experiences, studies, imprisonment, atrocities caused by the ignorance derived from a human being that classifies another as a puppet that can be played by out of his/her consent. The moment we realise there is no way to make time, it is the moment we understand change is the only way to prevent Genocide or any type of similar protocol to repeat themselves, again and again, restricting many lives of humankind, or any other sentient being, to be developed.
Genocide takes lives that could not be further developed, a protocol based on violence that has prevented a huge number of families to be constituted. Any protocol, from any area, that imposes restrictions to live a life, having a job, and constituting a family to be developed through generations, are not different from Genocide. The purpose is the same, it is clear to any conscious mind to see. However, the means could be accepted by the fact there is no need to take a life but rather just prevent it from being developed, establishing a hidden laboratory without walls or gas chambers.
We are in the 21st century and we still see what a humankind is able to do with another, killing, making experiences, fabricating illusions that can only be diminished by using consciousness to understand the restrictions imposed in the surroundings. A prison without walls that is feared by a mind in suffering, which we may also call a “sick mind”, a mind that enters deep into a state of suffering, remaining in a constant loop, and being unable to step out of it. As a society we just accept out of understanding we cannot do much for a person in suffering, as the protocol we usually follow, as a conditioned act, says there is nothing to do to a mind we just consider a lost one. The protocol is clear as crystal to any conscious mind to see, and the moment we step into a state of suffering, it is the moment we acquire knowledge to identify clearly what happens in such a protocol, realising and understanding the implications of it to a human life.
I could imagine Buddha, the enlightened one, after observing, reasoning, and understanding suffering derived from the experience of such a protocol, asking questions to establish understanding about the subject such as: Is it a person that has experienced suffering allowed to constitute family after such an experience in the 21st century? Is there a label that must be marked to clearly identify a given person has experienced a period of suffering? What is, in practical terms, the contribution of that label for self-development, and self-enhancement of such a person? What happens to a person that is not able to step out of suffering? As I could understand my own suffering, am I allowed to do whatever I would like to do with my own life, considering the laws and protocols applied in the society of the 21st century?
Let each one of us look into our life, using the power of the mind, and the consciousness we have at hand, to understand it. The moment we realise what is going on in our own life, it is the moment we understand the beauty of a path towards a meaningful life.
