What an exotic place for a tree growing up, fixing its roots to support life itself. We have no physical roots, limiting us from moving from place to place but we can use the same principle to fix our virtual roots in values nurturing our well-being, our nature of love, anywhere on this planet. We have no limitations but the ones imposed by our own mind, a kind of blockage that may influence us towards negative thoughts. I can, you can, we can, everyone can do it if the purpose is meaningful. The more we perform our mind training, the more we open our third eye to see the unseen, being able to access the sight beyond sight, the connection with nature and love we all share around, e.g., exemplified by the conscious connection between a mother and her unborn child. Observation and understanding are foundations to support the belief in the power we have at hand. We have not to be afraid but aware and awake in the present moment.
With the practise of kindness and compassion we are able to feel each other in a deep connection with our love nature, which is related but parallel to the sensation of pleasure. We have pleasure in something we love but pleasure is something awesome and dangerous at the same time. It is awesome because it makes us feel fantastic, experiencing happiness with little or no effort the moment we are in the middle of joyful moments, mainly if we share it with a loved one. However, pleasure can be dangerous the moment our unconscious mind taps into such a good sensation to feed bad behaviours such as overthinking, grasping, or overreacting, sometimes supported by the consumption of cigarettes, alcohol, or even drugs. The classic scene of old movies where a person lights up a cigarette after having sex comes to mind easily :-D.
Fixing our roots in our love nature is having a clear understanding about love and pleasure, complementing one with another to support walking our life journey in a meaningful way. It does not mean we could not have pleasure with what we may say “no love involved”, as the moment we care about life itself love is always part of what we do, no matter it is a tiny fraction or a huge portion. It means we have to be aware to recognise the moment we cross the boundaries to step into a state of suffering, which may imply experiencing the aforementioned bad behaviours.
The control of ourselves is all at the disposal of our own mind, performing our mind training, and enhancing our capability to master it. It is difficult to say the moment we master and have full control about ourselves, as the impermanence of the universe may present a situation we have not experienced yet, with challenges we may find difficult to overcome and easy to lose focus on. However, the promising results of mind training experienced under our unique perspective and relativity dictate our own observation and understanding to walk towards our higher consciousness and state of inner peace.
A moving tree we become with our mind training. A moving tree full of love to share and care to provide towards others.
