It is an illusion from our own mind to think about a life without challenges and difficulties to overcome. A life where everything is at our disposal, anytime, anywhere. The ocean of life sometimes presents us waves we have to deal with. There are three options available to do that: (1) being swallowed by the wave, (2) surf the wave, or (3) trespass the wave to see what comes next. If we are swallowed by a wave we may experience a huge period of suffering, which may end up badly the moment we remain unconscious with little or no contact to the surface. If we surf a wave the sensation can be awesome, the movements may feel good at first but the experienced sensations put ourselves into an illusion, which has an end eventually. We may be able to get back to catch other waves but we have to realise the infinite loop of surfing waves gets us out of reality, out of the fact we are not making much progress to see what is behind the waves. The moment we get conscious and start facing waves by trespassing them, we are able to see what comes next, which may be a beautiful and joyful island to get our feet on the ground, in the middle of the ocean. No matter the option we get ourselves into at first, we always have the opportunity to activate our consciousness to trespass the challenges and difficulties we are facing at the present moment.

No matter how hard are the challenges we face, and how difficult it is to face it, we need to keep going. We may have no equipment, no external support, no bodyguard or lifeguard close to either support or save us while facing waves in the ocean of life. It does not matter much if we remain unconscious to the fact we are the ones who have to face the challenges and difficulties of our lifejourney. The moment we keep our body and mind in the illusion of a life of luxury or a life of misery, suffering would keep us entrapped and enslaved into our fears and insecurities, an utopia of power towards others and life itself, represented by an unconscious prison with no walls.

Is life difficult? Is life challenging? Is there no help from others? While letting our unconscious mind into the driver’s seat we are always alert, spending a lot of energy to face the waves the ocean of life presents to us. Instead of getting help we may face obnoxious people in the surroundings. We may experience the extreme of having someone suffering besides us but trapped into an illusion supported by resources at disposal, poking us, making jokes, performing deceptive acts to get us out of mind. Is it funny at all? One may ask. It may be indeed funny and hilarious, an endless pleasure for an unconscious mind. It ends being funny if little or no suffering is manifested by ourselves, i.e., if we get conscious enough to the fact we have to concentrate our strength in what matters most: our own life.

The moment we realise consciousness is our superpower that makes the strength of life boost our own strength, it is the moment we stop spending so much energy on unnecessary things such as suffering itself.
