The unconscious mind represents someone with no identity, a commander or executor with both behaviours and actions guided by something with no proper understanding. It represents actions with no explanation, behaviours with no justification, an anonymous voice driven like a puppet with no consciousness about the meaning and reasons in regards of what is happening in the present moment. No matter how negative things appear, it is useless if we embrace them. It is better to live a life with nothing but consciousness than everything but consciousness. The moment we incorporate negative criticism towards ourselves, it is the moment we stop our capability of understanding. With no understanding comes no reasoning, a proper setup for the unconscious mind covering behaviours with a big question mark; a person acting with no identity, no responsibility but the belief that life out of consciousness is something to accept instead of understand and prevent.
Hello dear… it is good to know who we are and what we are doing in the present moment. It is good to be conscious about what is happening, recognising the difference among moments of joy from moments of suffering. It is good to realise observation of the self is a recurrent activity of our existence, an activity required to understand ourselves, the rise of our emotions, the needs of mind training, configuring an input of our personal enhancement plan to achieve the best version of ourselves. It is also good to recognise life can only be appreciated with consciousness at hand and love in the heart.
The revelation about our identity is part of the process to understand all the teachings we have had knowledge about, and how those teachings, coming from different sources, have been applied to our own perspective and relativity. Being conscious about who we are is the first and fundamental step to be conscious about the environment we live in, a preparation to acquire the knowledge about who is in the surroundings, and how suffering is positioned in the configuration of the scene.
Sometimes we think we have no idea about who a person is but such a person can be just beside us, wearing a costume that masks the real identity we are interested in. Sometimes we think we know a person very well until the moment we find out the knowledge we have at hand is distorted, implying the fact we had no consciousness to understand what we know is not what it is.
The moment we realise love is the clearance about who we are, it is the moment we recognise who we would like to be with, joyfully and consciously.
