It is our duty to recognise the internal chains holding our huge potential, and such recognition is achieved by using the power of the mind through the activation of our higher consciousness. It is through such recognition we realise the challenges we face are just something we have to deal with, requiring no need for promoting the growth of negative energy inside. The challenges or difficulties presented to us, no matter from where or who, are better to be faced as revelations, the kind of knowledge we have to use as an advantage instead of a drawback. It does not mean it would be easy to overcome such challenges or difficulties; it means we account for them, we are aware of them, we are able to observe their extensions, and we could improve our mind training through the use of such knowledge as a leading motivation to become better and awake. The more we tap into negativity while facing challenges or difficulties, the more we put ourselves deep into a state of suffering. Instead of worrying we should see the current situation as an opportunity to achieve the impossible, even if such achievement requires changes while walking in the path of a meaningful life.

There is nothing meaningful and natural achieved by force or conditioning out of consciousness. It may work at first, as a short-term result, but in a long-term journey it would not be worth the cost, as the price would become too high to be paid. It does not mean we should not try conditioning ourselves to perform tasks in a more efficient way. It means we have to understand the moment we are executing an action in a conditioned way, out of consciousness, it is the moment we have no idea what we are doing but repeating instead of acquiring knowledge and experience. In replacement of brute force or pure unconscious conditioning, the approach promoted by Buddha himself, the observation followed by reasoning and understanding, works better in a long-term journey. Challenges and difficulties transform themselves from suffering to precious knowledge, which we can use while walking towards the light, the meaningful path boosted by kindness, compassion, and love.

We would face different kinds of reactions while walking the path and performing our mind training, from loud laughs of discouragement to difficulties of using tools and equipment. Anything external is just external, as what matters most is the nature of love we have inside.

The moment we realise we have to put aside negative thoughts, luxury included, it is the moment we get conscious to keep working in our mind training and the promotion of our inner peace, no matter the nature of what we are facing at the present moment.
