We perform our mind training to achieve inner peace, the inner balance required to deal with any situation present to us, in the environment we live in. The moment we test our mind training, it is the moment we can recognise which are the strengths we have to enforce, and the weaknesses we have to diminish. We need mind training to remove the negative conditioning of darkness imprisoned in the path of suffering. The more we get close to our inner balance, the more we bound our connection between mind and body, the superhero strength carved like grounded stones at a waterfall.
What is your secret? One may ask. The answer is quite obvious, you can look in the environment, everything is available to us. We have all the elements: earth, fire, air, water, and our beautiful heart at our disposal. How beautiful is the impermanence of the universe, the combination of those elements in the cultivation of love, the nurturing of life itself. Life is precious, love is wonderful, and balance is needed.
If I get out of balance during my mind training, does it mean I am done? The confidence is at check, and the suffering is the easy path to follow. When we go to get a cup of water and we are not able to do it, as there is no water at the present moment, what do we do? We may suffer or we may try again, waiting for the availability of water or, if suitable, going to get water at a different location. The important thing is the understanding of the self and the environment itself. If we suffer, it is good to realise that suffering and to understand why it happens. If we realise the source of water has been deactivated, it is useless to wait for a miracle. We have to move on. Knowledge is at every path we take, we just need to realise that.
Criticism is at our door. Negativity is waiting for the first opportunity to get in. Some could say we know nothing about what we are saying. Others could speculate we are trying to copy someone else. The radicals would even enforce the need for an intervention, kicking in our door with imposed measures. What would we have to do? One may ask. The answer is quite obvious for this one: practising our mind training.
The moment we realise kindness and compassion are the source of inner peace, it is the moment we realise the importance of our mind training. I am afraid, one may say. There is a wonderful opportunity, one may conclude.
