One may ask: what is the energy of love? How could I feel it? The answers for those questions start all from within. We see hatred, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see anger, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see sorrow, we embrace it, and we get lost. We see negativity all around, we transform it in understanding, and we get conscious. Where is the energy of love? One may ask. It is just here and we could feel it the moment we get conscious about its existence.

It is time to see the world with our third eye of consciousness. It is time to see the environment we live in may be a huge source of negativity, with incredible atrocities one cannot see with naked eyes or have proof but sense. The darkness, the negativity, all manifested through feelings of anger, hate, sorrow, frustration, and so on. It is the ancient dance of dragons, the protectors of the fire, the energetic element, source of both life and death. It is on the foundation of negativity we experience suffering, and it is by understanding such foundation we see the light to end it.

The innocence of a child cannot see what suffering is at first. It is all a game to play, with a pure and open heart, with no intentions to harm but conditioned to do so, eventually. It is all unconscious, with no answers to questions asked. The innocence of a pure and open heart is something precious. It is that energy of love we can sense, keeping the hope for a better place to live, where love and compassion get spread all around. Consciousness is what bound us to that innocence, keeping our heart pure and in an open state. What a wonderful energy to feel within. What a wonderful energy to sense free of charge.

One may ask again: where is the energy of love? It is everywhere and in everything, could you not sense it? It is powerful, miraculous, unexplainable to an unconscious mind. The moment we start to feel it, it is the moment we know we embrace responsibilities, which remind us of a wonderful quote from Spiderman movies: “With great power comes great responsibility”. Responsibility of mind training. Responsibility of being non-judgemental. Responsibility of understanding. Responsibility of being kind and soft with ourselves and others. Responsibility to not harm our own life and the life of others. All those responsibilities are experienced, developed, enhanced, and mastered in the path of understanding states of suffering. The moment Buddha has achieved enlightenment, it was the moment he has achieved the full understanding of those responsibilities.

Is the achievement of enlightenment the secret of happiness? One may ask. There is a wonderful Brazilian song called “Era uma vez”, composed and interpreted by an amazing Brazilian artist named Kell Smith, which has the answer for that question through a powerful message. That message includes a wonderful wisdom that says we have to realise happiness lies along the path and not at the end.

Now I can sense the energy of love, one may say. The moment we sense the energy of love, it is the moment we realise it is all starting from within :-D.
