If I ask you what you would like to find behind the door you see in the picture, what do you prefer: knowledge or money? The choice is always yours to make, I am just the one asking the question. Each one of us has a specific motivation to make such a decision, which has to be genuine. The moment we are in front of the door we may have it opened from the inside, which implies we are guided by someone or something else, with little or no understanding about how the door has been opened in the first place, or even during our lifetime. We may also look to the door, understand the configuration of the lock, the constitution of the walls, being conscious about how we could enter in such a location in order to create an entrance, an opportunity to see what is ahead. You may see, the choice is always ours to make.

Our nature is bound with a love and compassion attitude towards others, a genuine practise of generating happiness from the inside, spreading kind gestures, positive energy, good vibrations all around. We cultivate our natural and genuine values by freeing ourselves from suffering, the negative energy we have to master in order to keep our inner peace and balance in check. There are moments we are full of good intentions, blind by all the positive energy we are able to generate and accumulate, naive to see any threat coming in our direction. There are also moments we experience suffering, which means we are not able to see the positive energy all around, our eyes are just covered by lenses with a filter against consciousness, lenses to make us see all the illusions suffering wants us to believe as reality.

We could ask ourselves: what is reality? We may get different answers to that question but no true answer is separated from our consciousness. If we are not conscious, there is no reality. If we are not conscious, there is nothing genuine but conditioned. If we are not conscious, there is no door, lock, wall, or anything in front of us. If we are not conscious, we are not able to hear the question asked, or the opportunity presented.

I may ask you again: what do you prefer to find behind the door: knowledge or money? If we are conscious about the present moment we are experiencing and the impermanence of the universe around our perspective and relativity, we already know the answer. You may see, we just need to realise the true nature of anything we experience.
