The moment we start to embrace the balance between light and darkness, it is the moment we start to get more and more relaxed facing unpleasant situations, no matter whether we receive stimuli originated from the environment, the obnoxious attitude required to practise our mind training in the face of darkness. It is like getting our bedroom totally prepared to lay down in a comfortable and nice rest. The more we respond to a negative attitude with a kind gesture, the less we let that negative energy contaminate the self, enhancing our inner peace towards a higher level, one step after the other.

How could a person identify an obnoxious situation? One may ask. It is not always easy to identify an obnoxious situation, which if viewed from a positive perspective, can be an awesome opportunity to practise our mind training. We have to tap into our instincts to see the person separated from an observed state of suffering. We should ask ourselves: Is an observed act of anger motivated by scenes that just happened in the present moment? Is there another motivation behind such an obnoxious act?

We have to observe all the situations we experience in the shoes of an investigative eye. It is by reasoning we get confronted by the following questions: Is the observed situation performed on purpose to get us out of mind? Is the observed situation performed on purpose to make us to be viewed as a fool to a specific group? Is the observed situation an attempt to simulate something we are not aware of at the present moment? In summary, what is the origin of the state of suffering presented by such a person we face at the present moment? The moment we realise the answers, it is the moment we start carving understanding from them.

We have to be soft on ourselves, being kind towards our actions, compassionate towards our observations, analytical towards our reasoning, and non-judgemental towards our understanding. If a group of persons selects us to make fun of, spreading the word we are a fool, a puppet in their hands with no possibility to know the intel behind the behaviour presented, one thing we can do for sure is taking advantage of that opportunity to enhance our mind training.

A fool becomes wise the moment the negative charges from the environment approaching the self are controlled and responded with a kind gesture, no matter how the judgement passed by any group. What matters most is that we recognise and embrace our true nature. Everyone is a fool while in a state of suffering, as everyone can become wise the moment a step is performed out of such a state.

We are not obliged to jump into the cliff just because everyone around us is doing it. We are not obliged to violate a red light just because everyone around us is doing it. And we are not obliged to accept and incorporate anything out of understanding just because another wants it.

With inner peace comes balance, a relaxing sensation we could take advantage of anytime, anywhere, the moment we remain conscious and awake.
