There are moments when we are ready to fly but the awareness and recognition of the environment is important to not flying unconsciously, taking into account any difficulty the environment will present. It represents the application of knowledge associated with wisdom. We know we have capability to but we decide to step down for the moment, until we get proper conditions to step up stead, and strong. The more we recognise the threats we are surrounded by, the more we account for every single possibility of any event, or the combination of them, including such knowledge into the practise of our mind and body training. Kindness and compassion lead the way, which are fundamental to guide the manifestation of the unlimited power we have inside.

There are moments where we need to take a look to the outside in order to get ready for what we may face in the present moment. We may recognise an obnoxious behaviour, a dangerous place, or a schedule where we may have alternations of windows, from obnoxious to dangerous. For each situation we may face on the outside, a specific mind and body training is required. It is not wise to throw the self to, or pass through, a dangerous place if we have no knowledge of self-defence to get away from that place safely. The same is true for obnoxious behaviour. If our mind training is not enough to face a kind of obnoxious behaviour, it is wise not to face it until we get prepared to do so.

However, sometimes we have no choice, and no time to prepare for those situations. We get face-to-face with the lions, and the lions do not care whether we have any kind of training. In those moments, focusing on our most fundamental training of keeping peace of mind may help. We may not prevent stepping into a period of suffering but we may be conscious about that. We may have no established strategy but we think about something soon. We may get intimidated or threatened by anything or anyone on the outside, and we remain at peace, not responding directly to any kind of provocation with the goal of manifesting negative emotions, and associated unconscious actions derived from that.

Our response to any negativity we may receive, or may recognise the presence within, is training. Channelling any source of negativity into our mind and body training is part of the process to master our mind, and the live vessel it is attached to. We get aware of how strong we are, and such realisation implies peace of mind. Buddha, the enlightened one, has disseminated such knowledge through his teachings. It is there, but only our consciousness is able to see, understand, and incorporate it in our own practise.

The more we are able to recognise the surroundings, the more the focus on enhancing what we have within represents both our personal evolution, and the ability to adapt to anything, anywhere, and at any circumstances.
