Before our naked eyes there is a world of images we capture from the scene we are observing, and experiencing in the present moment. Images that may represent the figure of kindness, the shape of compassion, the configuration of an illusion, or the combination of events moving the wheel of space and time in the surroundings. Transforming such images into knowledge is the task of our conscious mind, using our third eye to decide why we consider, or put aside, an image we find out being right or wrong. Sometimes there is no need to open our naked eyes, as what we see is part of an illusion the understanding is beyond its visual representation.
No matter which strategy we adopt to observe the environment surrounding ourselves, we need consciousness at hand. Consciousness enables the self in the difficult task of segregating illusions from reality within our own perspective and relativity. Not all events we find out to be real can be observed through our naked eyes, as well as not all events observed through our naked eyes we find out to be as they seem to be. The use of nanotechnology is a wonderful example of that.
A lot of reactions happen in nanoscale, and we can only observe or notice a combination of them when they transform themselves into events visible to our naked eyes. It means that the use of nanotechnology has the power to cloud our mind, which may imply jumping into wrong conclusions about a scenario, behaviour, event, or state we are observing, analysing, and trying to understand in the present moment.
Observing nanoscale events requires special equipment, and such equipment is very expensive, being not accessible to the general public. Therefore, jumping into conclusions about anything we are observing is not a good option, as we need to acquire knowledge, and check scientific background to consider, or discard, the possibility of nano entities inserted in the scene.
Segregating illusions from reality is something we have to train our mind to do properly. Such training is part of our duty to understand our own suffering, like Buddha, the enlightened one, has done in ancient times. The more we get used to recognise illusions, the more we enable the self to deal with them properly.
