The more we tap into our love nature, the more our inner peace is enhanced. The strength is ours and the absence to harm another is what we would like to observe from anyone in society. If we get that, we achieve complete peace around the world; if not, at least, inner peace is involved in the process.
The transcendent opposition among darkness and light has been surrounding society for many generations, as documented in knowledge we can extract from history archives. The observation of suffering is not new. The understanding of it follows the same path. The enhancement of the self by our own efforts is a true knowledge, an awesome fact, but a diminished belief. We see darkness and light as the manifestation of something external, which is evident in the newspapers, and associated publications about conflicts, wars, tragedies, and any negative fact we could imagine. There is always a tragedy and a recovery, a destruction and a construction, an illusion, a belief out of understanding, and an understanding of what the relationship between darkness and light really is.
The manifestation of negativity could be observed in the external but it is clear as crystal, present in ancient knowledge, that darkness and light are two forces observed, analysed, and understood within, in the self, and by ourselves. The noble eightfold path disseminated by Buddhism, which is derived from the knowledge Buddha has left to our society, is a clear example of that. The power of the mind is the key to deal with the opposite energy generated by darkness and light. Anger is the opposite of Joy. Sadness is the opposite of Happiness. Frustration is the opposite of Satisfaction. Despair is the opposite of Calmness. Chaos is the opposite of Peace. It is clear, it is not new, it is ancient, but all of that wonderful ancient knowledge is disregarded.
It is easier to be angry than look deep inside to find joy in our love nature. It is easier to be sad than realise happiness is in the small things, it is in the simple fact we are alive, breathing and able to share our love nature. It is easier to be frustrated by something that has happened than satisfied by the knowledge we could acquire in any situation we experience. It is easier to be desperate with an awful situation we are experiencing than understanding the scene, and realising we cannot control the outer but we can protect the inner by preventing its contamination by negative energy. It is easier to state chaos than making all the arrangements to establish peace within, and with the outside world. It is easier to blame than to acquire knowledge from all the decisions we make.
Buddha, Jesus Christ, Krishna, and all symbols of love and compassion among the different cultures in this world called Earth, have uncovered knowledge about the enhancement of the self by our own efforts. Achieving the consciousness to understand that seems to be the dilemma of many, and the realisation of few.
The strength is ours, and it is by our own efforts, controlling the self, and being kind and compassionate to ourselves or someone else, we are able to live a meaningful and peaceful life. If each one of us is able to understand that, stepping out of suffering and out of the influence of luxury, global peace would be an easy task to be achieved. History books would address what the new generations would live no more: discrimination, injustice, conflicts, war, and deception. However, as we control just the self, there is no way to establish a magical formula out of education, investigation, analysis, understanding, and conscious living.
The moment we understand why global peace seems to be a utopia for many generations, it is the moment we realise the benefits of all as equals are different from the hierarchical imposition of few as superiors, and far away from the understanding that meritocracy has nothing to do with bloodline.
