If we are a tree, full of good vibrations to share, what do we expect from others? What do we expect from the leaves and ramifications we generate during our life path? How could we deal with the environment conditions, which may pose a threat to our existence? How could we survive if the soil we have been planted, the air we have contact with, or even the water irrigating our roots have been contaminated with negative energy, which may disturb the achievement of our inner balance? Let us remember a tree assumes a static position upon it is planted. The moment we realise the answers to all of those questions, it is the moment we understand the difference about what means inner and outer.

Let us imagine we are a tree planted somewhere. We are able to get food, water, air, all from the environment we live in. Let us imagine we are static in the place we have been planted and someone starts to irrigate the soil with chemicals, which is able to contaminate our roots, deteriorating our figure from the inside. What could we do to survive? Could we go after the person responsible for such an awful act? Could we blame the person about the damage it has been caused upon the contamination of our roots? Could we expect fairness from someone capable of promoting darkness, negativity, and hatred at their best? Let us think about those questions, reflecting about all the possible answers and all the possible scenarios.

Let us now imagine the figure of a tree as our inner self. Our inner self assumes a static position within ourselves. It is always with us, and it is part of who we are. If we imagine the inner self as a tree, how could we prevent its contamination with the aforementioned chemicals disposed in the soil, which represent negativity and dark energy we are in contact with? One may ask. The answer comes from the observation and understanding about the differences between the inner and the outer. Negativity and dark energy are external manifestations in promotion of chaos. They may be present in the outer, and as outer manifestations, they are out of our control. If we get not prepared to face them, we may get our inner self contaminated, implying we start embracing what they promote: chaos. The element of surprise, the special card we have at hand to prevent such contamination is called consciousness. Achieving inner peace in the middle of a chaotic environment does not mean it is an easy task to perform, even for a conscious mind. It also does not mean achieving inner peace is out of mistakes, failures, misunderstandings, the experience of suffering itself. It means inner peace is a wonderful outcome to achieve, anytime, anywhere.

The moment we are conscious that a threat is just a threat if it disturbs the inner self, it is the moment we are capable of making a non-judgemental reflection to realise we have a wonderful power at hand, the power of our mind, but we are indeed imperfect. Realising our own imperfection is understanding that our uniqueness is always a quality and never a disability, or even a limitation.

What about the others? One may ask. The others are not part of ourselves but sentient beings we share an environment with.
