The more we distance ourselves from a meaningful life grounded on top of our love nature, the less we get options to step out of a state of suffering, walking towards the light, which in fact, is within our true self. Performing any act against someone else that implies a kind of harm, no matter the motivation, no matter if our unconscious mind finds it whether funny, it is indeed nothing more than suffering. The moment we understand that concept, it is the moment we know what we have to do to enhance the self. And that has no business with others.
If it is the first time you are reading the texts published in the NeartWord website, a warm welcome to the beautiful creature you already are. It has been a pleasure writing about what matters most: the enhancement of the self, which is indeed a delicate and unique subject. I, Jeferson Souza, a.k.a thejefecomp in the digital world of the World Wide Web, knows nothing about what you, at your side, are experiencing in the present moment, as you, at your side, know nothing about what I am experiencing at mine. What connects us is the motivation, the inspiration, the willpower to become the best version of ourselves for our own benefits and the benefits of the global community of sentient beings we are part of.
Each one of us faces challenges and difficulties in the environment we live in, and we may suffer while facing such challenges and difficulties. While in suffering we have a wonderful opportunity to learn by using our consciousness to get the wheel, and becoming the only driver of our own life. We know it is difficult to deal with a huge amount of negativity when we are not prepared to do so. We know it is difficult to realise the world around us is slightly different from the world we could see from the set of sentences we call “the law”. We know it is difficult to understand suffering from another perspective, from the mind of someone else, as we have no control, no access, no knowledge, and no rights to violate the privacy of someone else, as we would not like such violation at our own perspective and relativity. Thus, observing and understanding suffering from our own perspective and relativity is an ancient knowledge disseminated by Buddha, ancient but still fresh and on top. It is by understanding the self that we are able to understand others, and that is the most wonderful and hidden knowledge we could acquire from the teachings that all the Buddhas have left to us until the present moment.
The more we realise harming others is not a path to a meaningful life, the more we understand our own suffering and the suffering of others while facing unfair situations, promoted by discrimination and injustice.
The moment we distance ourselves from the illusions fabricated by our own mind, being aware of material values are nothing more than a complement instead of ultimate goal, it is the moment we understand the motivation of a mind in suffering while grasping to the attachment of something considered valuable. Grounding ourselves in our nature of love is grounding the self in a solid base, which may be simple but meaningful at its roots.
