While facing the sea with a lot of waves we are subjected to its strength, which means we have to use our consciousness to get advantage of it. Sometimes it is not possible to take a direct blow with no harm to the self, and it is for that reason we have to penetrate precisely in the middle of the wave to diminish its power, enabling us to pass through with little or no challenge. The more we learn how to take advantage of anything we have contact with, enhancing the power of our love nature, it is the moment we understand the only adversary that is extremely dangerous to the self is our own suffering.

All the scenes we experience in life have, at least, two perspectives: a positive and a negative one. By observing a given scene from a negative perspective, suffering is the ultimate goal that is intended to be experienced, implying pushing more negativity in order to trigger the intended outcome. That is the negative perspective of a mind in suffering, which may get relaxed to accept nothing could be better, as everything is as it is. The more we enroll in such deceptive, illusory, and conditioned behaviour out of consciousness, the less we would be able to understand our own mind, and the negative consequences of embracing suffering all along. From a positive perspective, otherwise, consciousness is at hand to guide the opening of our third eye to see the light shining its beauty. There is no need to enroll in the path of dependency. There is no fear to face anything by our own efforts. There is not a single negative experience that could not be transformed into knowledge to enhance our own love nature, instead of replicating a conditioned action out of understanding, which we already know is bad to the self, and could only be utilised for self-improvement in a private, lonely, and isolated place.

By looking at an agitated sea I remember the smile of the Buddha, which represents the face of control for someone that already knows the extension of his/her capabilities, strength, and weaknesses in the present moment. Such a smile is the symbol of adaptation, and liberation of the true power of the mind. We have no idea about what is coming next, but we are prepared the best we can for anything that has to be faced in the present moment. That is where the power of the mind, and the adaptive capabilities of the self have a keen sight at hand.

The moment we realise how wonderful everything we experience through the perspective of our third eye is, it is the moment we understand the difference between something generated from within, and anything pushed from the outside.
