Sometimes we are deep into something, lost in space and time, that we need to take our hands off from anything we are embracing, or doing in the present moment. We need to pause a bit, using our consciousness to feel the energy of the universe as a spark of hope. Hope that represents an internal transformation instead of an external revolution. As ruler of the self, and true master of our mind, we need to realise and understand everything starts from within, and we are the only one capable of stepping out of suffering no matter the circumstances. The moment we realise how beneficial it is to pause a bit to be totally sure about what happens in the surroundings, and deep in the self, it is the moment we understand sometimes we have to feel the energy of the universe like the act of exchanging positive vibrations with it.

The very first moment I have put my eyes on the picture associated with this text, the image of Goku [the fictional character of Dragon Ball] performing the gesture of making the Genki Dama comes to mind. Hope is associated with that gesture, as Goku asked every living being of the universe to share a little bit of energy with him, helping facing an enemy trying to put an end to the planet. He was the only one capable of doing it as his mental power was beyond the comprehension of the other characters, making him a kind and compassionate creature, but with a huge power that was close to the Gods, helping him defend Earth from the suffering of others. Besides being a huge fan of the character, one thing that Goku fights every episode he appears on is the big illusion of the mind his enemies promote with the need to attack another, just by the pleasure of being more resourceful, and powerful at the moment. From the posture of Goku we could learn the need for self-enhancement, surpassing our own limits again and again, caring about the most precious thing we have at hand: life itself. The more we realise the wonderful message that is behind the battles, and the fights that are in evidence during the episodes, the more we understand any type of knowledge serves two main purposes: (1) to enhance our own life by stepping into the evolution of the self; and (2) to defend the self against negativity coming into our direction. That is why acquiring knowledge of any type is so important to keep our mind and body ready to face challenges anytime, anywhere, and at any circumstances.

The moment we realise enhancing the self to become the ruler of our own mind is a self-defence imprinted in our nature, it is the moment we understand how important it is for our own evolution.
