The majority of time we are so deep into illusions we are subjected to, which our view of the world gets clouded, making it not possible to see the top of the mountain. In order to get out of such a clouded view, we need consciousness at hand to activate our third eye, enabling the self to observe what our naked eyes cannot. When we start to use our third eye, we can see that the majority of time negative emotions are generated from within, even if the action triggering it is on the outside. Using such a priceless piece of knowledge allows the self to deal with darkness properly.

When we are facing challenges and difficulties, mainly in harsh environments where fair play is out of the table, peace of mind is essential. It is essential not because it is fancy but fundamental to observe what happens within, and in the surroundings, in a conscious and meaningful way. Through peace of mind we understand following negative conditioning is useless, bringing more suffering and negativity to our own perspective and relativity, triggering the deterioration of the self as the main outcome.

We also understand that the worst enemy we have is our own suffering, as Buddha, the enlightened one, has taught through his teachings. Why? The answer is simple: because the manifestation of negative emotions with no control. When we are using our unconscious mind, following the negative conditioning to react to a provocation, we let an outsider aggressor in a comfortable position, nurturing both his/her suffering and ours. The moment we achieve peace of mind, we vanish our worst enemy, and therefore we have just to deal with what is on the outside, which may represent the manifestation of suffering from another, an outsider aggressor.

The moment we nurture the comfortable position of an outsider aggressor, he/she can start to study the self, in order to check our reactions against the provided stimuli, implying that we both experience suffering from different perspectives and relativities. Breaking the loop of suffering within does not break the loop of suffering on the outside but helps the self to enhance, getting prepared to face anything using our body and mind training as support.

The moment we realise that taming our unconscious mind, and vanishing our own suffering, is an essential step, it is the moment we understand how to activate our third eye to observe the top of the mountain.
