Sometimes we are so closed into our own suffering that we ignore there is life on the outside, which we can also provide a bit of attention and care, at least, to listen and observe what is going on. The moment we do it, it is the moment we start to understand that our love nature is more powerful than we can imagine.

How many times do we stop to listen to what another has to say during a random conversation? How many times do we ignore a stranger because of the bad situations we heard about? That is negative conditioning at its best. In order to avoid the few cases that culminate in bad behaviours, we sacrifice the majority that are only trying to communicate in order to get, at least, an enjoyable chat time.

As a result of such negative conditioning we see homeless people being treated badly, and sometimes also behaving in a negative way. All are conditioned to defend their position through negative forces, feeding their own suffering and darkness itself all along. The conditioning is so deep into our society that when we observe a negative reaction from a homeless person we call it insane. Otherwise, depending on the interests, behaving in a negative way against a homeless person becomes an action to be pleased and promoted as an example.

Fortunately, light is generated from the inside out, and hope keeps sources of light vivid everywhere, and at any circumstances. We just need to open our third eye to see that being kind and compassionate towards the self and others has no cost, even when the person in front of us may be struggling to deal with his/her own suffering. We do not know the details, and it is not our duty to judge another’s decisions to deal with suffering.

There is hope that light manifests itself in so many different ways that people start to step out of their own suffering, implying the same effect that Buddha, the enlightened one, has promoted with the manifestation of his own light in ancient times.
