When we are walking our own path and we see clearly the top of the mountain, such a view is not enough. There are so many challenges we have to face, which make uncertainty and impermanence part of our entire journey. As a consequence, we acquire the knowledge that we do not have all the answers but as a counterpart we know how to proceed in the search for them. The balance between seeing the truth before our third eye, and dealing with illusions observed through our naked eyes, represents the awareness and wisdom we use as support for strengthening our resilience and achieving higher peaceful states of mind. Wisdom materialises itself as the fact that we do not need to reach the top of the mountain to learn how difficult it can be reaching it.

How smart are we? How does intelligence vanish itself in the presence of suffering? What is the most valuable thing we can acquire during our life journey? What is more important: possessions or knowledge? All the questions are used as a reflection related to the way we live our life, and how conscious we are about it. Sometimes we think we are aware of the threats we face until discovering we know just the tip of the iceberg related to the difficulties and challenges we have to deal with, mainly considering what we do not know about the world, and the society we live in.

Are we aware of all possible applications of the technology we use every single day? Are we aware of all technologies in use within our own perspective and relativity? Are we aware of how technology can be used in the hands of a person experiencing suffering, and with a huge amount of resources at hand? Do we know our neighbours? Have we established a true friendship with them? If not, do we know why? All the aforementioned questions are fundamental to the understanding of our relationship with the society we live in.

If we have no close relation with our neighbours, coworkers, or anyone we have contact with in a more frequent way, it may indicate something in that relationship we need to pay attention to. We may draw a lot of possibilities about the reasons for being distant from the persons we spend most of our time nearby. However, it is our duty to find the answers in a meaningful way, in order to identify how the environment we live in contributes to either boost or diminish the periods of suffering we may experience during our life journey. The closer we are to the people we spend most of the time nearby, the better is our understanding of the environment surrounding the self. Why? The answer is simple: suffering feeds itself from the uncertainty generated within and in the surroundings.

If we are experiencing suffering, we can pause a bit to think: How well do we know the people surrounding us in the environments we spend most of our time in? The moment we realise the answer for such a question, it is the moment we understand how to step into a higher peaceful state of mind, enhancing the results obtained through our body and mind training.
