Finding our way, the direction we head towards on our path, is a fundamental step to give purpose to everything we experience and do during our life journey. Sometimes we may ask the self: How could we defend ourselves against fundamental rights' violations? How do we behave the moment we observe laws being bent and affecting our privacy, rights to have a job, establish a family, and our freedom of speech? How do we behave when we are part of a minority oppressed by the power of money? The moment we realise how to face the challenges derived from the answers of the aforementioned questions, it is the moment we understand that no matter what we do, embracing suffering is always something we have to make an effort to let out of the table. Suicide is never a right path, and it is not a way out.

When we are part of a society that value more money than life itself, we may hear, sometimes, a legacy of slavery that says we have to be careful when speaking with someone whom is considered rich, as such a person may just decide that we have no rights to speak about anything before him/her. When we think as impartially as a conscious mind is able to think, we see that rich or poor, as his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama is used to saying: 'we are the same'. In theory, when we are speaking the truth, based on acquired knowledge, we have nothing to be afraid of. In practice, we need to be prepared to deal with the suffering of another manifested towards the self, and our own suffering that may be triggered during the process, no matter the circumstances.

The legacy of slavery is still vivid, and unfortunately, we still have to deal with situations where life and knowledge are put aside in favor of money.  The famous popular belief that says 'everyone has a price' is applied. Not anymore, at least by the ones who care about life as the ultimate goal, cultivating and nurturing light and love from the inside out.

If we are feeling oppressed, with no representation in society, the only way to face it is through peace of mind, acquisition of knowledge, and the combination of body and mind training. Even when the outside promotes values based on the amount of money present in a bank account, we can cultivate a genuine appreciation for life, and its meaningful aspects that can be experienced during our path.

We have not to be afraid to face darkness, its associated dark intelligence, and the promotion of suffering all along. The power of love is unlimited, and when our light is manifested we become the protectors of life, which is what we are meant to be.

Remember, suicide is not a way out, and every single life counts. There is no life more important than another, and it is why we have to take care of the self, in order to become stronger and resilient to help others when required to.
