Threatening speech is nothing more than a period of suffering being experienced. We have been conditioned to do that, and it is only through consciousness that we can vanish such negative conditioning. The moment we receive threatening speech from the outside the question asked is: Am I prepared to deal with an escalation of that speech to physical contact? If not, we have to get prepared. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about besides the fact of keeping our body and mind training on check, acquiring knowledge as much as we can, and putting value in life instead of something else.

If we are feeling scared, threatened, or intimidated by anyone, no matter the means that person or group is utilising to do that, the first thing we have to keep on the table is consciousness. Before stepping into a period of suffering, and entering in a panic mode, let us reflect a bit about the scene, remembering that neither a person nor an organised group can do anything to us without our permission. Laws may be not effective, and we all know that they can be bent according to personal interests. However, there is nothing more powerful than knowledge, and a conscious mind using it wisely.

The basics to face darkness while living in society is learning how to defend the self, both physically and intellectually. We have to rely on our own capability to enhance, cultivating the beautiful light we have inside but aware that perfection does not exist. We have to be prepared to deal with suffering generated within, and on the outside. The moment we establish self-confidence, it is the moment we start to diminish and control the fear of the unknown.

Being confident is nothing more than caring about life as the ultimate goal, and not being afraid of doing what is right even when we are the only one doing it in the vicinity.
