When we are in doubt to make a decision, we have to listen to our heart. We have to pay attention to the heartbeat, its rate and intensity; observing our body and the rising of emotions. If we remain calm it means we are comfortable with our decision. We just need to go ahead and do it!

One of the most difficult decisions we have to make during the course of our life is keeping our values of kindness and compassion aligned with our love nature, even if we are alone with such a decision in the surroundings. It is a matter of honour and self-respect to not follow any measure of embracing darkness, observing the vanishing of the higher intelligence the moment we step into a period of suffering. Every person has the right to make his/her own decisions, and even if someone has decided to embrace darkness it is his/her choice to do it. While we honour the decision of another, even if it is against ours, we expect another honouring our decision, and by observing the violation of such implicit agreement with measures of discrimination and lack of care about life itself, we have to calm our heart, put consciousness at hand, perform our mind training, and continue to walk towards the path of a meaningful life. A hard but fundamental decision to enrol into our own evolution.

Challenges start to present themselves more often. Walking alone becomes a common habit we start to enjoy by the simple fact that caring about life is not an exchange for trading. The energy of love makes all sense, as we start to observe, analyse, understand, and feel it from the inside out. Our heartbeat becomes as low as possible for the moment, and we realise the correctness of the step we are performing. There is no turning back to a choice that requires our clarity of mind to be sure of the decision of embracing our love nature, caring about life, and being different from the negativity we have contact with, and observe through our third eye.

Buddha, the enlightened one, has enrolled into the path of enlightenment certain of the goal he would pursue: peace of mind. The moment we make a decision aligned with our love nature, and with no influence of anyone else but our own consciousness, it is the moment we set a path to pursue the same goal as Buddha has pursued in his journey.

If achieving peace of mind was an easy task to accomplish, I and a lot of other people around the world would not be writing, talking, experiencing, trying, failing, and seeking it, regarding the benefits of what such a peaceful state brings to the self.

We are subjected to the conditioning of silence because the discrimination of registering and talking about our path, our journey of understanding regarding our own suffering, which includes stepping into periods where life presents itself as not perfect as the impermanence of the universe. We praise the wonderful results achieved but we are conditioned to discriminate the imperfection, and the impermanence of the path that has generated such results, as perfection is an illusion that keeps the wheel of suffering activated.

The moment we realise the power we have inside, it is the moment we understand each conscious decision we make is a lifetime commitment towards our own evolution.
