The moment we look into the image above one word that may come to mind is manipulation, as the person is performing an action that indicates some sort of chemical experiment on the go. When we are talking about mind training we are just combining its unconscious and conscious parts in order to prevent unconsciousness to overcome consciousness, enabling decisions to be made by reason rather than beliefs or conditioning out of understanding. Stepping into a period of suffering represents the external manipulation of the mind, where higher intelligence vanishes itself when illusions are fabricated, reality is clouded, and what we see on the scene is a distortion of what it really is. The moment we recognise the power of our own mind in any situation we experience, it is the moment we understand even when we step into a period of suffering we can regain consciousness to recognise the presence of higher intelligence, using it as a measure to enhance the self, and the awareness about the present moment.

It is time to start being more analytical about what we experience in the present moment, observing, analysing, and understanding what happens within the self, and in the surroundings. There is no other way of gaining awareness, consciousness, resilience, and endurance without putting our hands on the matter, training mind and body to prepare the self for facing any challenge present to us no matter where, how, who, or the circumstances. It is easy to give up on the presence of some difficulties. However, let us ask the self the following questions:

Would life be any better the moment I give up my own defences against negativity?

Would giving up not be the result of a period of suffering, which may be triggered by negativity we have contact with, starting a process of generating negative energy from the inside out?

Would enhancing the self be a better strategy than depending on something from the outside?

We have to think clearly about those questions within our own perspective and relativity, remembering the presence of higher intelligence to help finding answers suitable for the moment. Experiencing difficulties is part of life. Experiencing challenges are steps required by our own evolution. However, not recognising the presence of higher intelligence, disregarding the occurrence of events, their relationship, and the understanding about the situation as a whole, is something not beneficial to the self. The more we recognise and understand, the more we improve, grow, and become resilient.
