History repeats itself, again and again. It is already written we live in cycles of suffering with wars, tragedies, moments of redemption and peace. The evolution of society is an illusion we get used to. Unfortunately, we have done not much evolution at all. We still have discrimination between groups of persons, nationalities, ethnicities, religion, social classes, and so on. We still have laws, which in practise do not apply to some of us, even if the written text says so. We live in an illusion grounded on top of a contradiction between what the laws say, and what society does to bend such laws, or even to ignore them in trade of power, money, and control. We practise kindness, love, and compassion to diminish the cycle of suffering, in the hope we could end it, eventually.
The conditioning of darkness and the promotion of suffering are already in front of our eyes, from many generations, from thousands years ago. The ancient knowledge brings us indications we have to deal with negative charges by using opposite energy, positive charges promoted by love and compassion attitudes.
We have to adapt to a world full of hidden discrimination, which are a conditioning practise we get used to every single day, characterised by the simple fact we put different weights to groups and classes present in society. We have abolished slavery in paper but we still see people being explored by long work journeys, human trafficking, and conventions saying social status matters in the recognition of rights and obligations.
We have to adapt our mind training to be conscious about the kind of world we live, and what we should expect from it. We have to see the good in every situation but we have to be conscious about the hard work of dealing with awful moments, and their associated negative charges.
If we look back in history we could recognise the same patterns we are able to see in the present moment, consciously. We have changed the laws, we watch carefully the use of force, but we continue to observe inequality in a negative way. Being poor or rich, that is normal. Being treated differently because of that, it is ancient. I am sure our ancestors have observed that a lot.
The moment we realise the illusion of society as it is brings us a huge charge of negative psychology, it is the moment we get conscious about its conditioning, and what is the role of love and compassion in our impermanent universe.
