Are you eager to be outside a negative situation? Are you feeling frustrated, powerless, sad? Are you angry or irritated? Patience is the way. Patience is what you need to practise to be able to think right away.
That is true. Try by yourself. Patience is the way. Grand masters such as his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, and Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo always say to be patient no matter what the situation is. To be patient is to be brave. To be patient is to find a way to keep on track of our compassionate and beautiful path.
Patience is a quality required to think. We need patience to investigate, to analyse, to validate, and to decide what to do in a specific situation. We need to think clearly, to investigate sharply, to analyse deeply, and to decide fearlessly an infinite number of times on the path of our lives.
Sometimes we are eager to solve a problem, and we forget to be patient. We forget we cannot control what is without, and we end up frustrated and with no solution at hand. There are situations we are not able to solve or run away. We have to deal with the act, all the actors, and all the scenes presented. We need to be kind with ourselves and with obnoxious people to be able to recognise and differ right from wrong. We need patience to be able to see the light deep in the darkness.
Patience is something we need to practise. There is no magic pill we can take to become a patient person. It is a daily practise, a mind training required to remain calm no matter the situation presented. When we get conscious about the beauty of patience, we realise everytime we let our anger drive the motivation of our actions, we lose an important battle, which kicks us back to the opposite direction of one thing that matters most: our inner balance.
With patience within our heart and knowledge within our brain, we think, we analyse, we decide, we love, we live, and we rise.
