It is all about how to move in a world full of hate. It is easy to get shocked by how cheap life can be in modern society. It is easy to see how loneliness has evolved deep inside our culture. It is easy to see how the ancient knowledge is essential in the modern era.
In our daily practise we have to exercise our power of observation. And in the majority of times to observe hurts. It hurts because we open our eyes to see what we don’t want to see. It hurts because we expect what is not supposed to come. It hurts because we plan the unplanned. It just hurts. However, the suffering is a huge source of knowledge.
Sometimes negativity comes in a giant wave. It comes furiously to evolve us completely. Negative feelings are able to cloud our judgement, to prevent us to have the vision of trouble on the go. It is like to be in a deep fissure, with the view of the sky but without the proper tools to get outside. We are powerless and we have no choice but to wait for the wave to pass.
Sometimes it is hard to realise we end up lonely. It is hard to realise we have to train our body and mind to hold on. We have to hold on to expect better days. We have to hold on to acquire more knowledge from personal experiences of others or our own. We have to hold on to see what configuration of the scene turns on, and which path we have to walk.
There are times we realise it is only by inner balance we are able to overcome darkness. No matter how hard we try to provide some light to the environment, it is only our path we have capability to cover, to get outside the darkest forest, full of shadows, as soon as possible.
A life of any kind is something special. It is not to sell; it is not to exchange; it is not to play; it is not to deceive. It is not to control; it is not to own like a property. It is a life, a unique and precious gift with no price tag.
