Things may not be what they look like. We need to trust our instincts, relying on our senses and intuition to see the path through our third eye. Finding love requires consciousness as much as facing darkness in situations we have not expected its presence. All the answers to our personal dilemma may be where we are afraid to step into.

Do not be afraid to step into a period of suffering. Actually, we need to do it in order to understand the environment we are inserted into, and how the impermanence of the universe works. However, let us put the first thing first. We need consciousness at hand, no matter what. With no consciousness, stepping into a period of suffering can bring pain, negative emotions, and conditioned behaviours resulting in deterioration of the self.

We can apply the conscious walk through either a chaotic or unknown situation. When we are afraid to enrol into a relationship, making an important decision, deal with difficulties life presents to us, or even face the uncertainty of a challenge we are putting all our efforts to solve, we need to ask simple but fundamental questions to ourselves: Are the actions we are willing to do beneficial, honourable, and meaningful? Do the results of actions we are willing to do have the potential to cause either harm or deterioration if distorted, and executed in a wrong way? Do we know the why, what, and how associated with the action we are willing to do?

The moment we get consciousness at hand, it is the moment we are able to evaluate the scene we are part of, being aware of any doubt related to the resulting benefits to the self or others, which enables us to do nothing we may regret afterwards.

Regrets are negative feelings representing actions we have done in the past, which we could have done in another way. It is not the end of the line feeling any regret about something we have done in the past. Regrets, sometimes, just need more time to heal, requiring higher and deeper levels of peace of mind achieved through longer periods of body and mind training.

The moment we realise things may not be what they look like, it is the moment we understand we need consciousness at hand to face them, recognising and understanding what they really are.
