There are two sides of the same coin: (1) becoming a waterfall; or (2) falling down into a period of suffering. Becoming a waterfall is understanding that the course of the water down into the river is something that, sometimes, we cannot avoid. However, if we remain conscious we can take the most advantage of it, channelling its power and strength to produce the energy of love. The moment we realise how to change our mindset in order to step into the path of becoming a waterfall, it is the moment we understand we have the power to change the course of the water in a conscious and meaningful way.

Sometimes we get a little bit down, with no perspective of seeing the light within, and the infinite path we have ahead, which is independent from what we are experiencing in the present moment. We need to trust.

Trusting in love. Trusting in ourselves. Trusting in the power of the mind. Trusting and relying on our capability to make decisions in a conscious and meaningful way. We have to become thinkers instead of repeaters.

Stepping into a period of suffering is not the end of anything. It is far from that. It is the entrance of a world full of knowledge, where the use of consciousness reveals a wonderful capability of recognising, identifying, and dealing with the illusions we have contact with. We acquire more knowledge, we become aware of things we have no means to notice before, and we can use all in our favour. It is the advantage of being conscious to produce the energy of love, no matter the circumstances.

There is no requirement but the precondition to keep consciousness at hand. There is no restriction but the unlimited attempts to achieve a peaceful state of mind, no matter how long it takes. There is no end but a joyful and long-term journey dictated by the impermanence of the universe, and the astonishing things love can generate.

Let us think about, analyse, understand, and incorporate the following: the moment we realise how to change our mindset in order to step into the path of becoming a waterfall, it is the moment we understand we have the power to change the course of the water in a conscious and meaningful way.
