We have to keep training our body and mind in a self-paced journey, where the goal is transforming anything we are facing into a source of good energy, with little or no disturbance, like peanuts. Everytime we have an issue, a challenge, a problem to solve, and we are not able to find a suitable solution for the moment, we have to be conscious such a problem would stick with the self for a while. Therefore, the only option we have at hand, besides embracing suffering and the negative conditioning associated, is getting used to any outcome resulting from what we are facing. Why? Because we can take advantage of the situation for our own evolution. Sometimes we have no idea about what the solution is. In other moments, we have a hint about the direction we could walk towards. There are stages where we know exactly what we have to do, but there are no resources at hand to perform the intended plan. Dealing with such impermanence is learning, day by day, how to recognise and understand our own suffering right away.
Preventing the self to step into frustration is one of the challenges we have to face, while dealing with suffering. Frustration is the result of the graping feeling that makes us want to do something but actually being not able to do it for some reason. We stick with desires in the mind, ticking the unconscious mind to enrol into a period of suffering, and following the negative conditioning of trying to replace frustration with something we get pleasure about.
Instead of pleasure, we could use the opportunity to nurture the self towards good practises for our health, body, mind, and the bond of all. For example, replacing a bad day, full of obnoxious moments by physical relief obtained by moments of sexual intercourse, is unconsciously doing the negative conditioning connecting bad feelings with the need of sex.
We may not realise it at first, but if we look consciously to what we have at hand, we can see clearly that neither the situation nor the moments of sexual pleasure, are good for the self. I am not saying we have to stop moments of sexual intercourse. What I am saying is that we can take the opportunity to connect in a deeper level with another, making the moments of sexual intercourse most benefitial for everyone involved.
Another important thing we have to remember is that either frustration and pleasure are triggers to a period of suffering. Being aware of their nature and existence is getting conscious about their beginning and their end. The more we improve in dealing with anything we face in the present moment, the less we step into frustration or pleasure without channelling their resulting energy to enhance our love nature.
