No matter how dark is the environment we are inserted into, we have the power to generate light from the inside out, illuminating the path we choose to walk, putting the care about life as the ultimate goal, and nurturing the love nature we have imprinted in our DNA. There are times to observe, and moments to understand. From the experience of observation we get all we need to start reasoning, which culminates in establishing understanding about a given subject, eventually. The more we realise what we are facing in the present moment, the more we understand peace of mind is what we need to stand strong against any type of negative energy we have contact with.
It is almost time for us to realise that we need to continue practising our body and mind training in order to face anything in life. A healthy body, and a sharp mind, are the requirements to stand strong against darkness, and its associated negativity we may have contact with. We do not stand a chance to deal with negativity if our body is weak, and our mind is submersed into a deep state of suffering. We need, more than ever, concentration to tap into the unlimited power we have inside, which is all we need to support the huge amount of negativity we have to deal with in our daily life.
Sometimes we may think we have not enough capability to face the challenges we are facing in the present moment. From time to time we may think running is the only option we have at hand, due to the non-identification of honour as a value we cultivate within but we do not observe on the outside. Fairness is derived from such value of honour, and the lack of fairness is a huge indication that discrimination is part of the scene we are experiencing. Honour is also the code in the foundation of our own roots, which means that dishonour is, for sure, aside from our love nature.
We may ask the following question to the self, seeking for understanding: How could we keep cultivating honour if what we experience is the promotion of dishonour as an "normal and expected" behaviour? I can answer such a question by using the teachings of Buddha, the enlightened one, to promote a moment of reflection based on the following:
If it is our duty to understand our own suffering, how could we do it if we expect someone else to assume such duty on our behalf? If we are experiencing an obnoxious situation, where the environment we are inserted into imposes such a requirement, expecting another to deal with everything on our behalf with no clear justification, like a small baby under development, where is the honour? Let us think about it for a moment.
Understanding the value of honour is the foundation to understand how to step out of suffering, no matter what we are experiencing in the present moment.
