When we see someone like that what do we think?

We think about a worker with some kind of success, maybe in a typical day of work outside the office because Covid-19 measures.

We never think he maybe a peaceful warrior. We don't know how is his day-to-day life. We don't know why he works the way he works, and why he behaves the way he behaves. We are not on the shoes of that man but we make assumptions based on information we get from the environment. We trust the environment not the man.

We assume he is successful [maybe he is] but we don't know what he has had to endure in order to achieve his success. We assume he has a lovely and bright life outside the office but we don't know if he is behind the creation of his own happiness, which has little contribution from the environment he lives. If we see him on a kind of struggle we assume he has issues but we don't consider what is going on around him. We make assumptions all the time without ask him: how are you?

Sometimes we have little feedback from the environment around us; then, we have to probe the environment for answers. We may hold a difficult situation, at first, with not the right approach but when we realise it is about to happen again and again, we know we are on something big, much bigger than we thought, and we have to be a humble and peaceful warrior without drop a line to ask for help.

We have to train our minds to be such a warrior, to fight without violence against the oppression, discrimination, indifference, all promoted behind the scenes. Sometimes we can't and we are not allowed to move on, go out from a fight, as we are on a hidden prison our capturer has created to show us we have no choice but surrender and accept a sentence without any kind of trial.

We have to achieve enlightenment with no or little kindness and compassion toward us, and no one will teach us an effective strategy specific for our situation. We speak about empathy but how comfortable is to us to not be on the shoes of a peaceful warrior considered a rebel and fighting alone with his bare hands against an army of high-tech, well-equipped sentinels.

We fight by training body and mind.
