One day I have asked myself why do I love that beautiful woman? The answer: I don't know; I just do.
Even without a clear answer about that silly question, I have decided to write it down to see if I could pinpoint something. The result is what comes next.
I have just realised I couldn't answer that question right away because when we fall in love with someone else, it is not like to switch on a love button and, ocus pocus, you are in love. It's much deeper than that.
By some reason our souls have got together and it is like we resonate at complementary frequencies. It is like a dance where partners are well connected, and the move of one follow slightly and beautifully the move of the other. Sometimes, the dance is not perfect, the moves are not performed in their best, but partners are still well connected, prepared to make adjustments.
It is not about the body shape; it is about the connection of body and mind altogether that makes a body looks like a piece of art before the eyes.
I love the way we look each other; the admiration; the confidence; the compassion; the understanding. I love even when a expression of disapproval comes right away. It reminds me I could have done best, and she knows that.
I love the way you smile, speak, walk. I love the way you look at me as you want to ask for my approval or my understanding. I love when you get down from your powerful and fearless posture, and just smile like a child that needs a big hug, warm and protective.
Even separated we are still connected. It is like two ground stations connected by a satellite link. Sometimes the connection has some glitches but it will eventually get to work properly after awhile.
I have stopped the writing to think: does she know all of that? The answer: I don't know. She will when she reads that, eventually.
I love your independence, your sense of right and wrong, your spirit. I love you so much sometimes I repeat that multiples times to be sure you get the sense how much it is.
I write and you read. I listen and you speak. We complement each other by simple gestures and that is it. Simple; strong; powerful; magical. That is what love is.
