It’s all based on honour. The honour of becoming the better version of the self every single day requires the recognition that we are both master and apprentice of life, implying we always have something to teach and something to learn from every single scene we experience and are part of. The master reveals themselves when consciousness is kept at hand, while the apprentice is in place to acquire priceless pieces of knowledge to make sense of something that is not completely understood. Who are we? The master? Or the apprentice? If we choose one or another, the only thing we are certain about is that we are experiencing suffering in the present moment.


The honour of enhancing the self in order to keep walking the path towards a meaningful life is the foundation to cultivate and nurture the beautiful light we have deep within. There is nothing more important than caring about life as the ultimate goal, which we can—intrinsically and naturally—do as soon as we keep consciousness at hand.


Sometimes we may feel a lack of control on our own actions, and it’s nothing more than suffering kicking in at the front door. We need to be brave to diminish the influence of both darkness and the negative conditioning we are subjected to on the self. The moment we master the art of keeping consciousness at hand, it is the moment we understand how to use It while learning something new from the environment we are inserted into.


The idea of diminishing the negative influence on the self is simple. Every negative experience is an opportunity to learn something new about either a challenge or difficulty we are facing. The more pieces we put together, the better we get the big picture of the puzzle we are dealing with. It’s by using such a strategy that we achieve the deactivation of any negative influence on the self, eventually. As a consequence, we start sensing the unlimited magnitude of our own power, the power of love through the manifestation of the beautiful light from the inside out.


The moment we realise the place of honour on the foundation of our own nature, it is the moment we understand that we are a strong and resilient source of light.
