In this very single day that is usually symbolised as a celebration day, we can take advantage of this celebration vibe to trigger deep within the capability of being resilient against the negative conditioning we are subjected to, being able to face darkness in a conscious and meaningful way. Darkness works on the shadows, destroying things in the environment we are inserted into in the attempt to make us step into a period of suffering. The more we are aware of it, the more we understand that the only way to deal with darkness is getting out of the shadows, cultivating and nurturing our beautiful light from the inside out.
The majority of time a person is not aware of the presence of darkness in the environment we are inserted into. The illusions are so strong that our third eye is not able to see clearly what is before us. We become naive in the duty of observing, analysing, and understanding what happens in the present moment, mistaking the occurrence of events, the presence of people, and the configuration of the scene we are inserted into by something else.
We need to see the heart of people, the source of light we all are able to generate. At the same time, we need also to be prepared to face the negative consequences of dealing with the suffering of another in addition to dealing with our own suffering in the present moment. If we are naive enough to consider no suffering on the outside, we are nothing more than experiencing a period of suffering ourselves.
It’s by recognising the presence of darkness, and the sources of negativity all around, that we get better equipped to decide if it’s still worth of keeping the self on the same place where we are right now, or just moving somewhere else because there is nothing more we can either learn or teach from our current position.
The moment we realise we have nothing more to learn or teach in the environment we are inserted into, it is the moment we understand we have attained higher levels of peace of mind that enables the self to put attachment aside from the self in our own perspective and relativity.
