The worst thing we have to face is our own inability to recognise that we become the reflection of our own states of suffering. The more the outside opens a negative room within the self, no matter how harsh, unfair, or dishonoured the experience could be, the less we are able to achieve a peaceful state of mind. Therefore, using our consciousness, and performing our body and mind training, are the best things we can do, creating no dependency, and opening no room to negativity within, or generated on the outside.
The power to get up and ready to face any challenge life presents to us is within. We just need to get aware of that, being conscious and awakened to see the light where darkness is on a dominant role. That capability we have, as creatures of love, to manifest our light when no one would believe, or would imagine that coming, is what establishes the foundation to surpass our own limits.
The achievement of higher levels of peace of mind is derived from our ability to recognise the presence of our own states of suffering, which enables the self to draw specific strategies to deal with it within. Dealing with suffering is not an unconscious act, or an autonomous task. Dealing with suffering is an act of a conscious observation and understanding performed on our own, like Buddha, the enlightened one, has disseminated through his teachings.
We may not be in a comfortable position. We may be facing the biggest challenge of our life. We may be alone, underwater, and moving as fast as we can, with the resources we have at hand. We have to keep going, surpassing limits one after another. Nothing matters most.
Giving up is not stepping back but embracing the negativity we have contact with. Giving up is not putting the self in a waiting mode, but following negative conditioning we are surrounded by. Giving up is not feeling exhausted and tired of facing variations of the same negative conditioning, day after day, but not caring about the life we have at hand.
Sometimes we would step into a period of suffering, but we should keep in mind the big picture, not giving up the broader view, no matter what we are facing. We just need to adapt our love nature to get the most from the environment we are inserted into. In that moment, what seems to be a difficult situation, becomes one of our most trustful cards at hand, getting ready to face, as I usually like to say, what cannot be faced out of consciousness.
