The moment we start keeping consciousness at hand, it’s the moment we understand that people who harm others as a way of life would eagerly attempt to put us down, while deceiving others to fabricate the illusion of some sort of sickness or troublemaker behaviour behind our back. Those people who get deceived are innocent people, and both them and us can do nothing to rule or control a troubled mind focused on harming innocent lives. It’s then time to wake up and be aware and awake to what we stand for in the present moment. We need to be able to clearly answer why we perform our body and mind training in the first place, being aligned with our love nature while facing the presence of darkness in the surroundings and dealing with obnoxious situations all day long. It’s important we understand who we really are, and how we can use our consciousness to tap into the unlimited power we’ve deep within. The moment we realise we’re much more powerful and resourceful than we could ever imagine, it’s the moment we understand that standing for what’s right gets much easier than what it seems to be, no matter the odds or circumstances imposed.
Let’s start thinking carefully about situations we may experience in life, understanding there are different views and perspectives we can observe a scene we’re part of. If we do it with no consciousness at hand, it’ll always be a heated debate about sides with neither strong arguments nor proofs supporting the provided claims. Such a situation is the base of a belief-based system and the central strategy to manipulate the masses. There are no questions asked with deep and clear explanations that make sense and can be verified.
If we try to picture such a manipulative belief-based system, let’s imagine a group of ten (10) people where nine (9) don’t respect the rule of stopping at red light, while there’s one (1) person who follows that rule. In that situation, the majority “thinks” the troublemaker is the one who stops at the red light, exhibiting a behaviour that isn’t performed by the majority; while the one (1) who stops at the red light would “think” the same about the other nine (9) who don’t care about lights’ rules at all. The question here isn’t about any right or wrong side but of what right or wrong really represent when aligning those concepts with our love nature. The moment we keep consciousness at hand and perform that alignment, it gets a lot easier to realise and understand the difference between right or wrong, no matter the circumstances.
The important fact we need to be aware of isn’t if we stand together with the side that is considered right no matter either the perspective or circumstance, but if we clearly and genuinely know the difference between right or wrong in the first place. When we attain such a clarity of mind and understanding, it’s crystal clear that we aren’t moved by the influence of any external factor but by the power of our own intrinsic ability to think and learned capability to make reason and understand what’s before us. Thus, using such a conscious and meaningful mindset, we can genuinely incorporate one of my favourites Buddha’s teachings that says wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing that; and right is right even if we’re the only one doing that.
Let's be brave to perform our body and mind training while walking the path towards a meaningful life no matter the circumstances.
