Sometimes we need to look at places and situations we wouldn’t put our eyes over, finding out an odd scene that gives us priceless pieces of knowledge we can use in favour of our personal evolution. It’s always a matter of perspective, and turning the odds as assets at hand. It doesn’t mean we would be able to succeed in achieving the results we’re expecting to achieve as we’ve planned, but it means we attain a clear understanding of what we’re experiencing in the present moment. Let’s remember that faith may trigger unimaginable results to our personal evolution. However, without understanding what happens in the present moment, we may miss an essential piece of the puzzle that makes all the difference in ensuring we’re genuinely becoming stronger and ready for any challenge or difficulty life presents to us. We may be only in a comfort zone, and therefore, deceived by our own ignorance regarding the impermanence of the universe itself.

Let’s ask ourselves: How many times have we had to deal with unfavourable situations? How many times have we spotted something wrong before it gets manifested? How many times were we prepared to deal with obnoxious situations? How many times have we understood a situation happening before the self without having to deal with its negative consequences?

When we start asking ourselves and triggering our inquisitive mind for answers, all without getting too obsessed with doing so, we start using our brain power to understand the space and time configuration we’re experiencing. A clear example of that is observed in a scene where we’re building something, and there’s an external factor deteriorating what we’re building on our back. If we aren’t conscious enough to start investigating and finding specific clues that shows the sequence of events triggering such deterioration couldn’t be triggered without an intentional intervention, we would pass part of the time performing maintenance and fixing activities instead of spending that precious amount of time making progress in what we’re building.

The problem of finding out the aforementioned clues is that we may attain the understanding that we still have no means to prevent the intentional deterioration of what we’re building, and therefore, we need to account for some losses during the process. It becomes crystal clear that we cannot win every single battle we fight, although winning and losing have their meaning attached to the perspective we use for assessing the situation we’re experiencing. Such priceless pieces of knowledge can be applied to both our personal life and business activities as well. If you get curious about that, I advise you to search for the Amazon case, and the average percentage of loss Amazon takes into account when considering that something bad may happen with the delivery of the products to the customers, which implies they’ve no means of preventing it from happening completely.

In our life, mainly when we’re talking about honour, honesty, deception, human relations, and everything involving things we’ve no control of, we need to account for potential losses, as well as some probability that intentional, harmful, and cruel outcome may be at place in the present moment. Thus, even when the outcome isn’t even close to what we’ve either planned or expected, we’re still strong enough to keep going, being able to account and understand the true reasons of what has just happened.

It’s by keeping consciousness at hand that we can clearly understand there’s nothing we cannot face and deal with when performing our body and mind training to be ready for standing with the unknown before us.
