When achieving higher levels of peace of mind, we step into a safe ground where our physical and mental resilience are improved to a new frontier. We get prepared to do the impossible, attaining what we could not imagine to attain in the recent past. We reach a mystical and powerful land, enabling the self to manifest our astonishing light in a conscious way, diminishing any trace of negativity that may have got room deep within.
The motivation to do the impossible is deep within. There is no other way to step into our personal evolution and break the loop of suffering in a conscious and meaningful way. Actually, the path of light is pretty easy to follow. When facing darkness we have two distinguished options presented before the self: (1) embracing suffering and accepting anything that is not under our full control, which may imply a miserable unconscious life; or (2) having full control of our life with the cost of performing our body and mind training for a lifetime, getting prepared to face anything, anytime, and at any circumstances. Easy choice, huh?
The usual problem is that we are too busy following the negative conditioning we are subjected to that we just forget to think, putting aside the ability of observing, analysing, and understanding the scene we are part of in the present moment. If we think, just for a small fraction of time, we can realise and understand a wonderful Buddha’s teachings that says: no one is able to do anything to us without our own permission.
The moment we are conscious that practising the aforementioned Buddha’s teachings requires performing our body and mind training to become resilient against darkness, and any kind of negative conditioning we are subjected to, it is the moment we understand the new frontier is reached when we start to see and experience anything in the surroundings in slow motion.
