Sometimes we reach a certain point in space and time where the view we have about the majority of things is clouded. We cannot be sure of anything happening in the surroundings, which poses a difficulty to the fundamental task of walking itself. Instead of getting scared or being blindfolded by the state we observe in the environment we are inserted into, we have to rely on the self and the consciousness we keep at hand. The more we put our trust within, the less we have to worry about things we have no control of.

Trusting the self is a fundamental lesson we have to learn, which is totally aligned with the duty of keeping consciousness at hand. We can only trust ourselves if, and only if, we are conscious of what is within, the scene we are part of, and the decisions we are making in the present moment. In that way, we are able to walk through either a clouded scene or environment with confidence of facing darkness and its associated negative conditioning in a conscious and meaningful way.

We have to learn how to deal with our own suffering to be sure whether we can trust the self in the present moment. Sometimes we step into a period of suffering and our mind gets clouded by the negativity we are experiencing. However, we need consciousness to recognise those moments, using the knowledge we are able to acquire in order to attain higher levels of peace of mind that prevents the same kind of suffering to keep kicking within.

The moment we realise what is clouded is on the outside, it is the moment we understand that keeping consciousness at hand is the source of the astonishing light we can generate and manifest from the inside out.
