What appears to be, it is not what it really is. What is more convenient becomes the reality, and what is real becomes secondary. The shifts of perspectives. The majority dictates what is shown, but as Buddha has said what is right is right, even if you are the only one doing it.
At the heart of our existence there is a sense of connection among each other. The need to interact, to entertain, to feel good, to be pleasant as individuals, couples, groups, society. That sense of connection is what nurtures the sacral chakra, which is responsible, among other things, by our emotions and relationships.
At the darkest times, and in the middle of a negative environment, the sacral chakra is affected. It is like to get electrical stimulation at the lower belly, and at the sexual organ. It is an unpleasant sensation, which can be represented to the naked eyes as simple agitation, anxiety, anger, sadness, and all those negative feelings a person may experience on a not so good day.
Training the mind by meditation practises can attenuate those unpleasant sensations, as we put the focus away from the negativity to something that keeps us grounded and conscious of what is happening, without manifest any disproportionate reaction to negative stimulus from the environment.
It is by the power of our mind we are able to deal with negativity and unpleasant sensations with love and compassion attitudes. It is by the power of our mind we can trigger the computational capability of our human brain to investigate, analyse, discovery, and build our inner peace, our sacred personal ground.
