As the lemur, we observe the world around us on the top of our tree. A genealogy tree, which carries the characteristics from all of our ancestors. A tree, which contributes to the definition of our physical attributes. A tree, composed by persons whom the costumes and ways of life may have been passed through generations by acts of teaching and learning, sometimes with improvements promoted by someone in between. What is hereditary is the physical, the cellular level. The rest are lessons we have the choice to accept or not, while in the adaptation of the world we lay over.

It is not because our ancestors were in war all the time we have to do the same. It is not because in the past things were solved with a sword on hand, or a gun on the hips, we should do the same. The conditioning of a life in society promoted in past generations, per se, is not an hereditary feature we carry within our cellular level, as the biological analysis can show. It may influence the development of physical attributes, such as strong legs for people whom has lived running out from predators, but it is what it is, nothing more than conditioning.

To achieve consciousness is to break the bind of bad conditioning present in teachings of the costumes and ways of life from our ancestors. It is to be aware we have the power to decide what kind of lessons we would like to teach to the next generations. It is about to be prepared to be attacked by indifference, sarcasm, deception, altogether with no justification and pure brainless motivation.

The moment we get conscious about that bad conditioning, which may lead us to a trap, a framing, and a set-up of our life, it is the moment we become wise and independent dogs, self-trained by love instead of the huge waves of hatred around.
