Through life we acquire different types of knowledge, each one of them stored in a different place within our brain, associated with a relevant context, emotion, sensation, life experience. It is like to establish a huge virtual library where our mind can freely walk in, to store and retrieve useful lessons to deal with the present, the current situation we face.

The practise of kindness, associated with a love and compassion attitude, enables us to transform the knowledge we acquire about negative emotions into something we can use in our favour. Instead of being obnoxious with others, derived from the conditioning of a negative environment we may live in, we start to respond with softness. Instead of being shouting, furious, with a little bit of no understanding about why a person can be so obnoxious with another, we sit down on gratitude we are conscious to turn on our light in a darkest place.

The moment we open our eyes to enable the nature of love to fill our heart, as it meant to be, it is the moment we start to observe the world around us with a sharp and positive perspective. We start to see every challenge we face is an opportunity to investigate, to observe, to learn, and to be aware. We start to see we are more skillful than we have thought. We start to see the more control is exerted in something or someone, the more suffering is present, and the less effective is everything that is done on top of such state.

In order to access the knowledge we already have within our cells, within the DNA from our ancestors, the ancient knowledge of past generations, we have to free ourselves from suffering, step by step, with our own pace, with no rush but full understanding. We have to tap into our love nature. We have to remember the comfort of life is not on things we acquire, it is on how we use what we have at hand to get the best we can get for the current situation, with the sensations of gratitude, love, and happiness all associated.

It is not the things we create that define us. We are much more than that. We are living creatures, which the best definition we can get is to be alive.
