In the improvement of the self we workout to overcome our limitations and to enhance our strengths. We workout the within, we build up the foundations inside, and we prepare ourselves to stay at peace, with no propagation of negativity to the outside. We create light, we rise strong, and we produce the reflection of the inner beauty we have spent time to build.
The beauty of a monument such as the sacred Taj Mahal does not tell by itself how hard it was to be built. It takes time to complete such a memorable monument. The construction is not from day to night, and such a process is not as beautiful as the result. It is quite the opposite.
The improvement of the self thrives a path similar to the construction of a beautiful monument such as the sacred Taj Mahal. The process to achieve inner balance and inner peace is not as beautiful as the result.
In fact, while we are performing our mind training we get tested all the time, no matter how far we are in the construction of our internal fortress. The tests are part of the process to check the resilience of what we have already achieved, to ensure it is strong enough to support the negative charges it could be exposed to.
We have to consider the time we struggle with something as a moment of learning. It is a moment to get conscious about what is going on. It is a moment to revalidate values and assumptions. It is a moment we are on the field and under construction at the same time.
To be kind with ourselves is to understand the achievement of inner balance and inner peace do not come free of charge. They require putting energy in the building process, in order to move the wheel of progress.
It is with understanding we realise while under construction we are prone to make mistakes, and such mistakes are part of our growth, our personal enhancement towards the light.
