When we learn how to deal with our priorities properly, we start paying little or no attention to the negative pressure we may be subjected to in the environment we’re inserted into. The reason is almost intuitive. We reach the understanding that any negativity we’ve contact with offers no help if we cannot use it to increase our intrinsic ability to surpass our own limits, and therefore, we find out—sooner or later—that paying attention to useless stuff is spending time with things that would not enable us to make progress towards our personal evolution, which is essential to living a meaningful life and dealing with our daily activities with confidence and no fear. The more we incorporate that mindset, the easier it’s to take responsibilities and look at the issues before us as something we can easily break to trespass with little or no hesitation.
Let’s imagine we’re dealing with some issues before us, and magically a wall appears to block our path. What would be a good strategy to trespass that wall? The quick answers could be to climb it, to break it, or to contour it. However, the right answer depends on the true nature of what we’re facing instead of the illusion we may observe through the lens of our naked eyes. The wall could be an optical illusion; the material of the wall could be so fragile that we may trespass it with little or no effort; the wall may offer a good grip we can use to go on with climbing it; or in the worst case scenario, we first have to walk towards the end of one side or the other to see if we can contour it before using brute force, or our climbing skills. It’s all a matter of being conscious of the issues we’re dealing with. The number of solutions we may have at hand are endless, and all are based on the simple fact of observing, analysing, and finding the weaknesses of the barrier we’ve before us. Simple and easy, although the majority of us are afraid to try, influenced by the fear of failure.
The moment we vanish and detach that fear of failure from who we really are, it’s the moment we understand how unlimited the power of our mind is, and how we can use it to surpass any obstacle life presents to us, no matter if it is personal or professional.
