Our human factor is what has driven the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which implies that we need to enhance such a factor instead of becoming lazy with the introduction and use of AI tools. Let’s remember that AI imitates human behaviour at a fast pace, and the reason for such an increase of speed is simple. We’ve an astonishing processing power within our brain but we’re still not able to consciously use more than a fraction of that power. Thus, the imitation game performed by AI accelerates the execution of tasks just because such an imitation takes advantage of equipment that can artificially process more data and perform more tasks in a short period of time than we, human beings, can do consciously. AI isn’t a threat for highly-educated jobs, human discriminatory behaviours are. We just need to make sure we know exactly when—-and why not—-applying AI consciously and meaningfully, no matter the circumstances.
It’s important that we keep learning the foundations, mastering the principles that dictates our lives and the daily activities we perform. If we keep learning and acquiring knowledge as much as we can, using AI tools wouldn't become a nightmare but a smooth activity integrated into our routine as personal digital assistants that are there to help and accelerate what we do instead of replacing us completely.
Let’s keep learning and stepping into higher stages of our personal evolution.
